Watched it for my love Cheng lei and discovered two other actors to obsess over. Jia rui and Yu xiao caught my attention for their amazing performances. And omg Esther is not acting 5 for once. more of these roles please. But in all honesty I shouldn't have done that. I had read so many comment saying the story is unfinished and there is no plan for season 2 and yet I still caved in because of its amazing cinematography and characters styling. ( tiktok is to be blamed..... and Cheng lei) It just doesn't move forward. Everything is so slowwww. Lots of talking and alluding to stuff without anything actually happening and none of the important questions get answers. Also the slow whispering delivery of the line gets pretentious at some point. All style no substance drama
Who will be the Emperor? I actually am starting to think that Yao and Sui Ge could team up and forgive each other.…
I mean, Sui ge is the mail lead and no one says a fictional story has to follow real world logic to a T so I believe he will be the king and will get the girl too. but we have to wait and see
I’m actually siding with the emperor. ML should blame his mother for willingly choose to marry and have kids…
you're siding with the emperor? that pathetic man KILLED the mother of his kids because he didnt want them to be influenced by her. Do you hear yourself? If anything she saw him for what he actually was, an unworthy power obsessed freak. no wonder she was done with him I dont care what he wanted for his son nothing could justify the bullshit he put Sui ge through. He should've been a parent to his kid
Am I the only one who appreciates the "flimsy", "petty" villain backstories? Most villains are…
I dont need to understand them nor do I need them to have more depth. I just wish we dont get anymore antagonist because we already have ... like.... 6 of them Also I want the male lead to stop getting tortured
the emperor is such a sad excuse of a human being. First he takes love as owner ship, then he forgives and protects his wifes murderer then alienate his own fucking son to manipulate him and then gets mad when he comes out decent instead of a bloody tyrant WTF
Emmmm I dont know how to explain it but they put some sort of filter on actors so their skin looks smoother and whiter. it blurs out all the skin texture and "imperfections" This drama uses it a lot
Feng Xi Yang, I really do not understand how your brain works, why would you escape from your own country (literally…
here is my Theory ( might be wrong tho) : 1. she feels like a burden. She felt like she is not doing anything meaningful in her life thats why she ran away to military those years back ( when she saw Jing shi first time)
2. In earlier episodes she was talking to her brother telling him how she feels pressured because she is a princess and now that she is growing up she is starting to understand that means she has some responsibilities in regards to her country and the royal family. Now I think she knew her marriage will have a political nature no matter with whom it was going to be. The king not explicitly objecting to the marriage proposal gave her hope. She thinks she might not be able to fight in battles but she can bring peace. ( thats partly a reason for her love towards him)
3. She though if Jing shi gets stuck in Susha, he will hate her. That's a reasonable conclusion actually
She is naive for sure. Trying to play hero when she doesnt know the depth of these issues
It's both weird and not weird at the same time. definitely sus but I understand XD
yeah like he is not a good person so its hard to root for him but also looking at his situation and all shit he needed to do and say to survive......... I wouldn't be better. Its like he never had much choice to begin with. no one is on his side. IDK
