just came back here to say I just watched a video of Ri Won ( playing yun Sae Yeong here) covering rolling in the deep by Adele and she is a great singer. She is in a group called monogram. check it out if you wanted to.
Im so disappointed that Jiseok wasnt the one telling the truth to Hana. why people in this drama go out of their way to hide stuff they have no reason to hide Im tired
just binge speed watched the last 4 episodes and Im not rooting for Hana anymore. she deserves whatever she gets for how fucking stupid she is. I hate se yeong but Im glad we can see her smiling. just realized she is pretty when she isnt frowning all the damn time. As expected JI seok is only well written character. Also the scene with Ji seok , his secretary and his sister was so funny
Also bermuda leggings with ballet flat as work attire?? early 2000 fashion was bad for sure but why we are reviving the most horrendous clothing from that time ?? GIRL...................
I'm confused. In one hand I love seeing Hyun wook and Ka yeong pairing plus male leads interest and quirkiness is a enjoyable on the other hand Male lead is one the most annoying archetypes in romcoms. narcissist, childish, insecure, moody, over achieving CEO with trauma. I hated the male leads in What's wrong with secretary kim and business proposal too. And they all have this weird way of talking too. why writers cant let go of this type of characters??
come to think of it Hana being naive and slow might be annoying but she compensates it with her golden heart and strong love for family. Jin gu has no reeding quality tho. why Am I supposed to consider him as a good guy? he is not "loyal" to chairwoman he is spinless. He saw a rout for his life that can bring him a stable job and money so he turned off his conscious and does whatever the evil woman says. Feels like selling his soul because the chairwoman has shown her true colors many many times. Jin gu isn't better than any of the villains.
I love how the chairwoman make zero efforts to hide her plans. Hana been there for a week and basically half of them found out she is not her daughter. Well at least its not dragging. I like my soap operas fast paced Im tired of seeing Hana so clueless. I want to see her plan for something. Like a full blown revenge with Jin gu and his mom on her side. Idk
something has been bugging me. Why Xuan Lie went back to beixuan to protect the king? why is he so loyal to the fucking asshole? when he left his wolf lord position I thought he finally lost hope in that country and its royal family. He could've just stay behind or Im missing something? i just wished for that king to die is all
I hated Qimin stubbornness at first but he is the only level headed recently. main leads chemistry was phenomenal at the beginning but the minute they got together it nose dived. I don't see the same spark anymore don't know why
It depends on the dynasty it's set in and whether or not it is a real kingdom or a fictionalized one. So shows…
thank you so much .this was an interesting read. Especially the parts about Xenophobia and racism when it comes to showing different regions of the country. I forgot how vast China is. I just feel like when Im watching cdramas I'm loosing some context because of language barrier and subs and visual aspect isn't helping. Thank god at least the plot is easy to follow
Ive started watching C dramas recently so Im new to this but when you watch kdramas Normally you can understand characters place in the hierarchy by the way they're styled/dressed but here everyone's similar. Like the maids and fl and the princess are so similar. even the king looks like other male characters. C drama watchers, is it only this show or other historical dramas are the same? Anyways Im loving the story and the main couple are so hot omg.
Of course he is against Ha na being her daughter. He is trying to revenge the chairwoman for killing his parent…
He deeply cares about both Hana and Se yeong. But still his revenge is his top most priority. what I got from reading your first comment was that Ji seok has some type of double standard in regards to Se yeong and Hana but I don't see it that way. He is characterization is pretty consistent actually. Life just keeps throwing him curveballs. It doesn't matter how much he wants to spare both woman from pain he is gonna fail and he knows it. He is having a hard time accepting it that's how I see it at least. I don't know if I explained my point clearly
