Guys, do I need to watch the previous seasons? I saw snippets of LJG’s acting from his agency’s vid and his…
yes you do. is necessary to understand the story. LJG only appears in this season but still the drama is really amazing, you will like the characters, even the villans.
I may have a too rational and logical mind, but the car accident was a big let down for me in the final episode.Ki…
I mean if you are talking about being rational and logical then you should have stopped watching from the beginning. The drama had a lot of inconsistencies from the start. In the first episodes, JM fought against +10 people that is also a flaw, but when he came to arrest the 3 guys they actually though he couldn't handle the trio lool
In this kinda of dramas we have to overlook some things to be able to enjoy it. Being rational and logical is not gonna to help at all.
To me, it doesnt make sense. He let GiCheul go.. then when GiCheul looks like hes about to commit suicide, Junmo…
He shoot him because he is a cop at the end of the day. When he let him go he was a "gangstar" and gave him a chance to live a normal life. But GC once again, found a excuse to not do it. All the drama he kept saying his life was ruined, since his mother killed his dad so he had to became a gangster now he had a chance to move on like Haeryung did but nooo he rather comeback and kill himself? Ohh hell nah. the ending was realistic this is a crime/ triller drama not a fantasy.
I actually loved the ending, I was afraid that would give us an open ending but this is very realistic. This plan only had one outcome: Someone is going to get their feelings hurt and die at the end. It's been impossible for JM and his wife to come back from this plan, both have done things that no married couple can handle PLUS they saw each other dark side.
JM let Haeryun because while spending time with her, she learned about her past, she was a kid that was brought up in this world and never really had a choice. He let her go, so she would finally choose a life for once.
Now Gicheul HAD a choice, he could change his life and give up on the drug deal business but his ambitions for money and health was stronger. JH and Gicheul both couldn't reach out what they wanted in life because their parents were criminal but, JH still became a cop and Gicheul a gangster.
JM gave Gicheul the chance he needed to change his life, but AGAIN he found an excuse to not do it. He really came to take his own life, proving that he wants no chance at all.
The scene when he shoots Gilcheul had so many meanings, he kept the "gangster" watch but at the end he was still a COP have his friend said to him before he dies.
