How is it so far? Much romance? Any love triangles? I'm disappointed the ML's other drama currently airing doesn't…
Platonic relationship (maybe with romance at the end). There is a side couple (father-mother of main girl in their younger vers, but the bigger focus of the drama is family). No love triangles at all.
The first Kdrama that delivered a bloody good revenge to the end. None of the usual Kdrama revenge trope where…
You should watch King of Pigs if you want an amazing Bloody revenge plot. The glory was a good revenge (mostly Psychological), while King is really Bloody with psychological too. So if you want a good one, I suggest you that.
Still rethinking to this amazing drama. Top acting and plot. How can some call this mediocre is beyond me X'D One of the most charming and amazing female lead I've ever seen. Without considering how much incredible was the quality.
Ah, so they're brothers. I can already tell where this is heading. Yoo Ha will take the throne and Kang San will…
There is no better ending than for them to live free. A life in the palace is the worst thing that you could wish in your life. Kang is not fit to be a King, he is a good person but has no idea about the future. Dan Oh desires freedom and to travel, she would have been trapped for life. Being a King and Queen in reality is not a Happy ending Fairytail, but it's duty and a continue battle. You have to have a mindset to be a ruler to both change the world for the better and to save yourself from people willing to killing you for the throne. You can't go out all the time with who you want and are always under other people's attention. In most kdrama they want romanticize the King and Queen relationship, but in reality he will have to have more women 'cause was a rule of that time to have concubines to get more heirs to the throne, so to make the throne more sure (also to have connection with the ministers). That makes everything even more dangerous for a Queen since everyone will try to steal her role (Under the queen's umbrella masterpiece). Now this is a lighter drama so let's go back to the rest- Yoo Ha since day 1 was the only one of the characters that was always study and thinking about what to change for the country and the people. He has the mindset of a true Ruler. Kang is not a good ruler at all. He wanted to take the throne but never cared about what to do with it. It was just for his own revenge, but he never cared about what to do to improve the world or have some ideas for political changes. He is fits more normality and freedom. Both of them can be truly happy. What Kang wanted was never to be a King, but to get his revenge. Yoo Ha have always aspired to change the world, but never knew he would aspire to get on the throne. But even in that case he was fine to be put aside until the people would have been safe from a Tyrant King. I think both got their right ending, even if I hope Yoo Ha will be fine in in that hell that it's the palace.
Sam Sik is one of the least man you should ever date in your life. Invasive, annoying, irresponsable, immature.…
We will see from the backstory. There is an high chance that he discovered how dangerous everything was the day he became prosecutor, that made him leave her 'cause he know people around him can be hurt. Before that day everything was fine between them, so it's pretty clear that he saw something that made him discover what happened in the past. Not only Minjoo was hurt in all of that, he got hurt too. But if we miss most of the backstory it's hard to tell. But when they were dating it was a super healthy and supportive relationship. A thing that I can't see with Sam Sik at all. Maybe 'cause I met people like him in real life... uncles just like him that put all the responsabilities on their wives and that put their families on the egde with debts, unstable job and immature behaviour. Even her own kids can see what type of person he is. He is a bad guy? No. He is a good partner? Not at all. About the future of Kang Hoo and Minjoo it all depends. I wanna know what happened to judge.
I would be probably be along thinking that but i hope that Mi joo will end with Sam Sik. both Young Soo and Kang…
Sam Sik is one of the least man you should ever date in your life. Invasive, annoying, irresponsable, immature. Let's forget he had bully tendencies when he was young - this guy has no plan in life. He lies all the time and doesn't know how to not be invasive. Super mega immature and can't think straight one time. He asked to Minjoo to marry him and be the father of her children while he doesn't have a stable job, while both have debts, and where he is already a burden to his parents. He is not a bad person, but a terrible partner for your life. Plus Minjoo has no slight interest in him. Kang Hoo has a complicated life, but both had a really healthy relationship, Plus next ep will give us his backstory so we can know better what happened. I would rather seeing her alone for life than with someone like Sam Sik. He is way better as a friend.
One of the best acting I've ever seen in dramas. Do Hyun and Ra Mi Ran are slaying so much. The little twins are so cute and good too <3 Impressive and natural talent. The scenes look so natural and because of this they hurt even more.
I've watched 4 episodes and I am bored... Does it get better?
First 12 eps are my favs, so if you're bored now I don't know-- I admit I cared zero about mains, and watched it because of Wholesome is Shi yeol's character. I think it's a balanced drama and I didn't get bored, but it has many flaws, so for me was more a relaxing watch always waiting Shi yeol scenes X'D
The little girl having a crush on kang ho (probably her dad) was unnecessary lol
don't know, but me and most of my friends were like "I wanna marry my father" when I was 5 years old. It's a classic to be the little princess of your father. Is something innocent and not romantic. But I get that maybe the execution was not right for you (as I read it's that what you disliked). But I think will just be a small thing.
Loved the watchman's story. The final about him and his love interest was kind of anticlimatic though. I am glad…
I was so happy for him, but yeah was kind of not handled so well. It would have been better for her to discover it first to have more time to think about it. But I was fine with anything just to see Shi Yeol's smile back, literally the best character.
Wholesome ending. Yeah not perfect, pretty sure each has their opinion. But a thing we can all agree is that Shi Yeol was the MVP of the drama. Best acting, best story. He was the 360° character we deserved. Solid drama, not a masterpiece. Shi Yeol was the masterpiece in it that gave this drama most value.
Hey, can somebody says what's about love triangle ? comments says it is but it isn't annoying .others says it's…
At this point of the story I would say that the triangle is no where to exist. Main leads likes each other, there is yes a "second lead" but the plot and bromance are more important. So I would say to not worry about anything love triangle related.
While I can get while Hong Ju is shocked and all... what pisses me off of her and others is the fact they keep accusing Shi Yeol of being an heartless murder killing INNOCENTS, when he is literally protecting the Grand Prince from real cruel monsters... My Shi Yeol doesn't deserve this hate. In ancient time was normal to have such warriors. The same Chief Guard or King's personal guard is usually a trained warrior that kills to protect. BUT NO, Shi Yeol is heartless and a murder. One thing is to be upset over the fact he killed your lover (I would be messed up too), but looks like he is killing innocents just 'cause "hey it's fun".
Without considering how much incredible was the quality.
