First of all, throughout the show, even up to the start of the illusion arc with the stone, they are fighting toe to toe with each other, and literally no one is seriously hurt. Also, the “1000 year spiritual master” point is wrong from the start because LWY is only around 50 years old at that point.

Sure, WWY is stronger, but look at who she actually loses to: WSG’s master, who we already know possesses immense power because he the Star Stone. Other than that, she barely fights anyone else until the final arc.

So did you actually watch the drama?

The drama literally tells you why she gains power, and it explicitly explains it. Maybe you missed it. So again, did you actually watch the drama?

For the first part, you’re missing the point of why she’s doing all of that.

As for Yuan Wu Huo hitting her with one slash… again, the drama literally explains why. So once again, did you actually watch the drama?

so something you need to know about the novel is the drama adaptation took LQQ Xin Mei and build story around them.

LQQ is 25 in the novel Xin Mei is 16.... The novel's whole plot is just his tribulation as a War Demon (Turning into one) and their marriage.

The plot of the drama is kinda reverse of what the novel is. Also Cultivation is not part of the novel beside that "immortal" people exist.
Chu Ying doesnt even exist in the novel.

Jin Lun was right about her being his tribulation... it might be everyone tribulation

Thanks ! glad you read it, yeah I just want to give more context to what should have been cover in Rebirth ! a large portion of Rebirth really focus on Chu Qiao and Zhuge Yue relationship/romance... and we only got a glimpse of it... that could be because the actress age limited what could be adapted to the drama.

If you don't know anything about the story, it might be average or ok to good depend on your taste in drama
