Can I ask you from where did you get all this??
By coincidence, Ji Ling’s blood fell onto a puppet of Yuan Xi Zai. Because of this, when Ji Ling later took human form, he resembled Yuan Xi Zai.

The Dragon Scale and Ji Ling’s Fate

Later, Yuan Wu Huo was chosen by Chi Wen to consume a Dragon Scale and gain dragon power to help seal Jiu Ying.

However, Ji Ling felt guilty for failing to save Yuan Xi Zai. So instead, he took the Dragon Scale himself. As a result, Ji Ling became the “false Dragon God” and lost his freedom.

Yuan Wu Huo felt sorry for him and stayed by his side. But since he was human, he eventually aged. Before his death, he said goodbye to Ji Ling and left alone.

These are the assumptions he made for this to work.

Title Rebirth
I never watched or knew about the original, and it doesn't seem like a good idea to watch this as a stand-alone.…
Nice to see a familiar name ! I had to find something to do while waiting for the new VoS.

Beside Li Yun Rui , Im not familar with anyone else in the cast. It not terrible by any mean, but at the same time it also not amazing.

How far have you gotten ?

That why the journey matter more then the destination 🙂‍↕️

I don’t know how familiar you are with FoF, but VoS, like FoF, is unique in its aesthetics, OST, and cinematography.
