I find it problematic that once she stopped being a housewife, the mum ,she started mothering the whole hospital and all her patients. She somehow couldn't escape the mum tag. As an intelligent woman she deserved better portrayal.
Koreans oppas are infamous for having chat groups and many have been caught before sharing and rating women in these groups with their friends. I think that was his intention, none of them are ever innocent. They are just perverts who don't respect women.
I was just here for the games and the human stories. Maybe it wasn't the most perfect story but your curiosity will keep you watching. Kind of reminded me of the US elections, humans can never agree on whats best for everyone.
For a legitimately ambitious actor, it is essential to accept new challenges in order not to remain stuck in a…
The children will be genetically beautiful, have you seen how his father, mother and sister and other members of the family without plastic surgery look. (lol) Let's say maybe the kids will be beautiful because with genetics you never know.
For him, it's partly genetics. If you look at screen shots of Reborn Rich, he didn't have wrinkles then either.…
Do you mean the same Reborn Rich where people complained about the excessive filter meant to make him look younger. Without make-up he looks like Voldemort.
Ep 1 was fantastic but I do wonder what drug she was prescribed to take on a case by case basis for the panic…
She felt embarrassed when they mentioned that that killer on TV was seeing a "shrink",plus how she thought the other Dr who wasn't a psychiatrists was better. Even the whole talk by the Dr about US vs Japan mental health highlights how their society is afraid/embarrassed to talk about mental health. Hiding her bag from her mother-in-law.
....I don't understand one thing; why was it necessary for H and M to break up? It's a bit like Hurikawa used…
He felt like he was holding him back, was not good enough and was standing in the way of his dreams. He self loothes so, doesn't feel confident. Remember he is a bully, broken home, doesn't study etc. (explored better in the manhwa/webtoon, in the drama they make him palatable but he is a delinquent. I'm not saying delinquents are bad people but from pov of author)
How is the drama so far? Enjoying it? I'm an Elvis fan and I'm wondering if it shld be on my watchlist. Just found…
Thank You. That's awesome, I will definitely watch it out now. I loved Fake it Till You Make It, very different from the typical romance cdramas. The story was mature and so well written.
Feel like I watched another drama than everyone else, taste is subjective but I thought this was awful.
Be careful of being dragged here. It's open season for those that don't agree that it's a "masterpiece". You can check my review, I also didn't think it was all that.
I think the space and time simply functions different in this afterlife world, so common sense and real life rules…
The biggest problem is we don't really know the rules of this world/Light Shop. There seems to be different rules applied to different people. So not all explanations work, the way people think they work.
If it was clear from the start how the rules around the Light Shop, The bulbs work it would be easy for most people to work it out and understand the ending.
It’s so funny that some people quit after EP4 because they didn’t understand what’s going on, I feel bad…
Well I watched all of and I don't exactly consider it a masterpiece. In fact I only stuck around because it was 8 episodes.
It should be okay for people to drop dramas if they feel like it and not be shamed for it.
it’s often a matter of personal taste, patience, or expectations. The series introduced many layers or cryptic elements without clear resolutions early on, it leads to frustration and disengagement. Not every viewer enjoys stories that demand close attention, delayed payoff, or deep interpretation.
People might quit because they seek immediate clarity or emotional connection with the plot or characters, and if that isn't established early enough for them, they lose interest.
While others see this as an artistic masterpiece, for some, the series might not align with their viewing preferences, and that's okay—art resonates differently with everyone.
actually he remembered her before he crossback over. Before he left he hugged her tightly while she was waiting…
Yes, even if he is depressed he still saw the messages because he was reading it.
So maybe the remembering part is more about the essence of her rather than the photos of her. Or maybe can't remember actual details of them being together.
The fact that he never even blamed his parent (mum) for causing her death because she hated her for being deaf (like she can help beingdeaf).
The fact that he is not in mourning for her but is more stone faced and angry but we are told he is angry because he can't remember.
Even if you accept that Asian folklore theory. She is being blamed for everything that happened but we are not really shown what Hyunmin is really thinking or why he is so resentful.

Let's go down the phone rabbit hole for a second.
If we assume that his parents didn't tell him about his girlfriend. Did they also remove all traces of her from his life?.
It seems impossible that they could remove all traces of a girl that he was planning to propose to. There has to be photos of them together somewhere (laptop, his flat etc) She had photos of him in her apartment, he must have loads of photos of her too.
This then still leaves you questioning the real reason he can't remember her. It's just not clear why?.
This is not true because not everyone has the same standard results. The daughter was literally forced by her…
Yes it can be different but it seems there are different rules for different people, which is something that's confusing.
Yes experiences should vary but I just don't get why the mum could take a bulb for her child but the schoolboy was stuck even when he was trying to move and find his way out.
I also don't get why the shopkeeper would sell you another bulb knowing full well the bulb that you needed. He guided others but just drank tea with others and everyone is putting that to will, which still doesn't make sense to me.Then I have to ask what is will?. When do you start to have will? Do you only have will when someone tells you to find your bulb. But then gives rise to other questions.
The show didn't show why he would do that. I understand that maybe the girl needed closure with her mum. But the fact that the mum can't speak but she sent her daughter to buy a light. How did she do this if she was already dead and couldn't speak.
actually he remembered her before he crossback over. Before he left he hugged her tightly while she was waiting…
This is my problem with this drama, there is no consistency with the world building.
It's not really clear what is true "will" especially when we compare Hyunmin and the daughter. Both of them were forced to come back but face different consequences.
Also when he says it feels like "night to me" it could also be him expressing that he knows something is missing but he doesn't know what.
Don't you think you're now just assuming that he didn't have friends to tell him about dead girlfriend.
Also the phone had all the messages between him and his girlfriend. So he knew about her but maybe couldn't remember what she looked like or how their relationship was like even though he wants to remember.
But that's how media often portrays men. There are portrayed as incompetent.
Kind of reminded me of the US elections, humans can never agree on whats best for everyone.
