Pls notice that Soompi, Korea JoongAng Daily and Korea Times are not reporting what Lily Alice is reporting here.…
Can you please stop harassing Lily Alice, and stop posting a false narrative? If you follow Korean News on Naver you would know that since Monday this week there have been over 100 articles published in Korea about this issue. On the 8th of April, another follow-up TV broadcast was made on this by the Korean TV program that started this case (JTBC Evidence Leader). So if the TV program and other Newspapers are still reporting on it who are you to say it's Lily Alice? Just today I read another Korean article about it, the ones you mentioned above are not the only newspapers in Korea.
I follow a lot of Korean news and can tell you that the story is very much on the news in Korea. Soompi just translates articles for International audiences and gets paid for other promos of artists but that doesn't mean that they cover all Korean Entertainment News. So please educate yourself before posting.
All it takes is going on Naver and searching Song Ha-yoon's name in Korean and all the recent articles from different Korean newspapers will come up. There are currently daily articles about the bullying story.
They don't really like Japanese BL that much, maybe one or two JBL will be popular but most of them are dedicated…
I think it's more to do with the "ships" and "BL couples" created by the company and therefore there are more dedicated followers and para-social relationships and delusions while in JBL we take whatever couple we get. There are no permanent ships just actors doing their jobs.
There is also the age factor of most GMMTV productions which is younger or early adulthood while JBL have a whole spectrum of age.The JBL with younger actors and stories tend to be more popular as well as compared to mature storylines.
Idk where the fuck BL watchers are at ? I mean have ppl stopped watching BL ?
They don't really like Japanese BL that much, maybe one or two JBL will be popular but most of them are dedicated to Thai BL wholeheartedly, they camp under GMMTV BL productions.
ML's face has me stressed out since Tada Rikon but I guess that means he did a great job. Will be sure to check this out. Thanks in advance to Luwuang for the subs.
I wasted my time here even watching at 2.5x, I couldn't escape the boredom. I'm convinced MDL folks are really not a critical bunch. The highest-rated dramas on here can be so mid, that few of them deserve to be rated so high. This goes on the pile of useless, forgettable dramas, I've ever watched. So many unrealistic things especially when that cruel sister of his kept telling her kid (a minor) to go back to the US. How did that minor even pass through immigration? Then they tell their staff to go work at their house too? The FL is a superhero Mary Sue-type character that does miracles wherever she goes, she is superwoman and nanny McPhee wrapped into a smiling emoji.
she steals people's scripts though and has controversy for plagiarism. so I don't know if she's that good or someone…
Haha, you can try doing it slowly, like from 1x to 1.25x and increase the speed until your brain gets used to it. It's amazing what your brain can get used to if you train it. Your brain will barely notice any 0.25x increases.
she steals people's scripts though and has controversy for plagiarism. so I don't know if she's that good or someone…
Yeah, it's really unfortunate when that happens because sometimes new writers are so happy to show their mentors or people they respect the stuff they have written only for those ideas to be stolen. Even fan-fiction gets stolen sometimes.
I formed the habit of watching at 2x when I watched some old kdrama soap opera type dramas like Stairway to heaven/Tree of Heaven where some of the scenes are repetitive, slow or blank so I realized that I don't miss much. It only becomes a problem if a show is very fast-paced but most Asian dramas are not so it works perfectly. I will pause and rewind if I feel I've missed something. But normal speed now feels pretty abnormal to me.

Very talented at borrowing other people's ideas without crediting them, nothing new. A lot of writers use ghost writers these days. If she settled out of court once, there is a high chance she did it. Not saying she is not talented, but let's not forget the unfortunate person who almost lost their life because their idea was stolen. Talent and ethics should go together, not just at the expense of others. This is not a secret either.

Here are all the times she has been accussed of plagiarism. You can google the article.
1..A 2008 web novel Seolhee author Kang Kyung Ok also sued Park Ji Eun over plagiarizing some of the settings seen in My Love From The Star. The author insisted that Seolhee had been in the making since 2003, and that Park Ji Eun “stole at least eight major settings” unique to the novel. They later came to “an agreement.”, probably paid the web novel author in July 2014 after reaching an out-of-court settlement.
2...Park Ji Eun’s 2013 SBS K-Drama My Love From The Star is alleged to have included specific written directions for the opening sequence—said to be too similar to that of the 2008 American TV series New Amsterdam.
I'm so glad I waited almost 4 years to finally finish watching this because I couldn't buy into the hype when this aired. I was in between dramas and of course, I had finished Marry My Husband (2024) and needed a bit more of Park Min Young. But my intuition was right after all. All the hype was for nothing, this drama is so basic and the storyline is just a cliche.
why did you watch it at 2x speed? what kind of monster are you? lmfao
Haha, just a habit I formed from watching emotionally drawn out Kdramas like Staircase to heaven where someone runs after a bus or some time wasting scenes like crying for 5 minutes. So why not try make them run faster,or cry faster (lol). I'm now so used to watching at that speed I often wish I could speed-up the news.
Everyone seems to hate the concept of the sleazy, weak husband but the real story is the sisters' relationship and how they eventually find each other again. The poetry of bones, grieving, family secrets, and wanting to be seen and heard by the people we love especially our mothers. Discovering that your mother is a fallible human being. The irony is how each sister thought the other one stole what they wanted or deserved in their own life. The spoiled one was starved of love and attention but the big sister was always there and she never noticed it. I'm glad they sorted it out at the end, and were able to be sisters again. She turned out to be the best sister once, they sorted things out.
If you don’t like the movie that’s your issue why are you on calling it bad? this is a well written, and acted…
I don't know what gave you the impression that I actually care about what a rude, rando like you has to say. Anyway, you have proved my point, you can call me any name you like as that seems to be your MO. It will never change the fact that you're a rude bully who masquerades as a movie watcher but has an account full of things you have never watched. Your need for validation is truly pathetic.
I suggest you look in the mirror before projecting your own insecurities onto others. Stay sour, it suits you well.

Oh, how delightfully hypocritical of you to accuse me of lacking articulation while spewing this venomous diatribe. Your inability to comprehend basic logic is truly astounding.
Firstly, don't flatter yourself by assuming I care about your self-proclaimed victimhood. Your feeble attempts to play the victim card are as transparent as they are pathetic.
And as for your petty attempt at insult comedy, comparing me to Patrick Bateman OR Patrick Henry ? Really? I'd suggest you spend less time trying to be clever and more time working on your comprehension skills. If you watched movies you would know my profile pic is Dorian Gray.
Furthermore, your excuse for not engaging more frequently on this platform is as laughable as it is irrelevant. Spare me your feeble justifications for your lack of presence here.
But perhaps the most entertaining aspect of your pitiful tirade is your blatant projection. Accusing me of hypocrisy and aggression while simultaneously embodying those very traits yourself? Bravo, truly.
In conclusion, instead of hurling baseless accusations and attempting to play armchair psychologist, why don't you take a good, hard look in the mirror and address your own shortcomings? Until then, spare me your sanctimonious drivel.

3...Park Ji Eun’s 2019 tvN K-Drama Crash Landing On You faced plagiarism allegations, too. A scriptwriter apprentice claimed, in a since-deleted online exposé, that Park Ji Eun stole the plot (of a North Korean soldier falling in love with a South Korean woman who crash lands in a paragliding accident) from their original, Unique Romance. The apprentice alleged that their original was submitted to a script writing contest, where Park Ji Eun must have read and “stolen” the idea.
She is the Queen of borrowing other people's ideas without proper crediting .
