If you don’t like the movie that’s your issue why are you on calling it bad? this is a well written, and acted…
What does English have to do with anything. You are the one that called me a name here. You sarcastically called me Patrick Henry because you don't know how to be polite and now you want to present yourself as victim, very typical bully behavior.Grow up please.

Your fake profile says you have watched and finished 1 movie and you plan to watch to watch 6 movies. The movie that you completed is not this one, actually this movie is not even there on your watchlist. I'm not god but I checked your profile. You can check on someone's profile and see the movies they claim to have watched.

For someone that didn't even watch the movie or finish the one movie you claim to be watching, you sure have a lot to say. Anywhere you prove my point about 1 movie accounts. They are the loudest and employ bully tactics...thank you for christening me Patrick Henry.

Why are Japanese series rated so low? they literally make the beat shows I do wonder if Yuma had the ability to…
MDL community has no appreciation for depth and intricate story-telling without visual aids . Because Japanese shows often use minimalist sets and normal looking actors, this just puts more people off.

Why Erika still here
She's had a few movies since that time but guess she is back doing Netflix. Not sure if she will be on TV shows though.

I feel sad while watching this because I got reminded of the whole Korean teacher strike in 2023 and how not only students get bullied but their teachers get bullied by parents as well and this has led to some sad endings.

The most on steroids Jdrama, I've ever watched. Since I watch most things at 2x speed or more you can imagine how fast everything was going in this drama.

I don't care if you don't agree with me, just don't be rude. I don't care what fake accounts that have watched two movies have to say but bullying others is out of the question. You don't have to agree with me to be a civil human being that doesn't terrorize others by telling them their opinion doesn't matter.

I don't have an issue with you, however I have an issue with your rudeness and failure to comprehend that everybody has the liberty and freedom not to like a movie or agree with you.

Oh, bless your heart for attempting to grapple with the complexities of my genius-level queries. Don't strain those brain cells too hard, champ. Maybe stick to something more your speed, like counting to ten or tying your shoes.

Please tell us how movie scripts work, since we all don't know and we aren't allowed to express our opinions here.

The OP didn't just say "it's bad" they said that it's "bad and forgettable movie" which is a very legitimate and straight forward review. That's giving it context. You're the one that needs to kick rocks because for feeling like you speak for everyone here...no you don't. Please stop harassing and bullying people here telling them to give context. You don't represent SJK or anyone else.

Great acting from both leads. The story...I liked the first half better, focusing on his struggles but the second…
Yeah, that was pretty silly and didn't seem to fit with his initial drive for life. It's pretty unrealistic and adds to that factor of incoherent character writing. I read the novel and I can tell you that all that other stuff is not there. Just added for dramatic effect which ended up ruining the movie.

Mydramalist should seriously look at a system to remove accounts that attack others for simply stating their opinions. Everyone is allowed their opinion without being bullied or being asked why you didn't like the movie. So childish Sav.

I'm just watching it to see how it all ends but everything happening is a bit ridiculous. The fighting scenes and honestly the whole story is a stretch.

I also thought about soup kitchens or a shelter at a minimum. There are soup kitchens where they don't ask you anything they just give you food. The ironic thing is South Korea is the one that mistreats NK defectors by discriminating against them but they want to say "fake" Belgium does that.
On My Name Is Loh Kiwan Mar 2, 2024
What a very mid, boring movie and SJK's sour looking face was not convincing at all. They totally changed the story in the novella and made it into a romantic movie when the novella doesn't focus on that at all. That's really sad because I've read so many North Korean defector memoirs and those people go through a lot of hardships which I thought were going to be talked about. They took the focus from those stories to focus on other issues. The novella is a great slice of life story that deserved a better adaptation.

That's the moral of the story though...evil lady has sinned all her life, she'll never be released from the cycle…
I think you're missing the point, most people do not mind forgiving. The problem here is that the one who was abused/murdered and wronged is the one who is asking for forgiveness while the perpetrator shows little to no remorse. It wasn't the FL's fault that the guy fell in love with her, but she has to spend 3 lifetimes being murdered and ultimately asking for forgiveness. What did she do wrong for her to die because of the ego and jealousy of the other woman? It is not normal, and it can never be normal for the victim to be victimized into forgiving his oppressor when the latter has absolutely no condemnation/punishment whatsoever. If you read through the comments this is the problem that everyone has with this cycle of reincarnation in this drama.

Forgiving someone does not necessarily mean that they escape the consequences of their actions. Forgiveness is about letting go of anger and resentment towards someone who has wronged you, and it can be a personal decision to release yourself from the negative emotions associated with the situation. However, it does not mean that the person is absolved of the consequences of their actions in a legal or moral sense. Consequences may still be necessary for the person to learn from their actions and to prevent further harm.

I think that's the aspect that Thai Lakorn often leaves out and that makes people wonder, because Thai jails are full of criminals they didn't forgive them and let karma handle it.

I know Thailand has strong connections to Buddhism, but when talking about lakorns these types of endings are kind of stupid. I've watched a lot of lakorns and just feel like those types of preachy endings are unrealistic and ultimately that's why people sort of dislike them. I watch them but it would be fair to see people arrested and pay for their crime and let Buddha handle the rest some other time.

I get what you're saying and I even respect Buddhism but it's crazy to punish 3 people because one of them cannot accept that the other person doesn't love her. That's so narcissistic and just perverted logic. Arrest her for murder at least.
