The complexity of story, emotional depth, complex-grey characters and acting here is better than Hidden Love but unfortunately it isn't for everyone. HL was a feel-good drama, which managed to check all the marks "cuteness" and that's about it.... it has only one thing going for it and I don't blame HL. Majority of people don't give "two cents" about complexity or realism and they only want to feel good... Hidden Love delivered in that area! First frost is for people with refined palate, who want to see something unique and care about the nuisances, as of ep 16 it feels like a 9+ drama to me, but we will see what happens in the future.

I would personally blame FL for the apartment incident (she didn't stand her ground) but she did make up for it by shutting him down in the apartment. We can talk in circles, but it will all boil down too, FL not being Harsh/strict enough in her response to his outrageous behaviour, BUT if we look at rom FL prospective, her current repute of 'Boss Bed warmer" in workplace and her history of SA abuse. Her behaviour kinda makes sense, the survivors of sexual assault usually suffer from lack of self-confidence (especially when it comes from other gender), nightmares, trouble sleeping, appetite changes, general anxiety, or depression and emotional reactions like guilt, shame, fear, numbness, shock, and feelings of isolation. If you observe her behaviour you would see, she is showing all classical signs of assault PTSD.... but her condition has started to improve after the appearance of ML. That "barging in hostel incident" was wake up call for her. She stood up for ML, talked back fiercely and defended ML throughout the SML stupid tantrums in the apartment. After that, he tried to talk shit in the lobby, and she smacked him hard by saying "I know who likes to force me and who just cares" and her entire demeanour changed. She gives special treatment to ML, is sharing stuff with her friends and "trying her best to breakdown the walls". So, I can fault her when she is actively taking baby steps and trying to "improve her behaviour", I know it may seem contradictory to some people considering my hatred for similar behaviour in other dramas.....but here we have FL, who has very legitimate reason for her behaviour (villains are provoking her again and again), she claps back at anyone who tries to cross the limit, gives special treatment to ML, acknowledges her mistakes and trying her best to improve the situation.
