I stopped watching Hollywood Tv-series cuz of the same "agenda pushing problem", then K-dramas due to this behaviour and now I may even have to drop c-dramas due to this shit. I will give you little insight into their reasoning behind this action "Korea, Japan and China" have crazy feminist and woman with unrealistic demand problem. Their governments try to undermine it for years but recently their birth-rate has completely plummeted (by 2040 China population will lost 60% of their population) due to this behaviour. So, their governments are desperate and running these bad behavioral normalization campaigns to make men believe its normal. Second possible reasoning behind these dramas is (I am not tryna be misogynist here). The old workforce doing important and dangerous jobs was predominantly men, now due to declining birth rates, replacement population of men is not available and someone has to full-fill those roles to keep the economy going. So, they want to push the "career oriented" woman narrative to motivate more woman to full-fill these roles and let the old workforce retire but this won't work either cuz if both genders are busy working 18 hours a day, they won't have time for relationships and hence the problem will continue to worsen.
This is my thinking...why they are doing this cuz CCP is very keen on censorship and they know what problems these dramas are causing at mainland (I saw a youtube video of chinese men complaining about 6 feet height standard set by woman due to these dramas). The sheer volume of these coming out tells me, not only are they are okay with it but they may even be telling production companies to make this shit.
