If she was so smart, why didn`t she realizes her father doesn´t like or trust her so called God Father, and her entanglements with him is a major problem for ML. After that why doesn´t she realised ML has no choice but to agree with her father execution. Lastly there was no need to make the whole thing political and stop talking nonsense, if Chinese woman were so unhappy they would have tried to ¨mass rebel¨ and speak against the system in ancient China...like they did in the West. But we see no signs of this behaviour in China cuz woman were content with being rich gals going around blowing their husband money like no other. They have to step in and tone down some of extreme stuff like ¨Bride price¨ and other stuff after 200million+ young men refused to marry (sending china birth rate into nosedive) unless something was done about requirement like ¨House in first tier city, sports car, 6 feet height, millions in saving and 500,000+¨ bride price. I am telling you all this, so that you should stop looking at everything from western perspective, Asian woman in general (including middle east) are happy with status quo and will fight to maintain it. If you don´t believe me just visit Korean/Chinese/Japanese social media and you will thousand if not million of woman pulling down influencers for just wearing shorts (wearing bikini is also considered crime according to some). Just cuz me and you like modern liberal society doesn´t mean everybody else does and we have no right to tell them, how should they live their own lives. I am no lover of patriarchal society (cuz whole concept of 50% of world population sitting at home and doing nothing while utilizing planet resources by eating food and wasting oxygen is stupid as fuck) but people right to free will is vastly superior to my right of expressing opinion.
