I was hopeful about her cuz unlike other celebrities, she was never under any government official investigation. She fired somebody and that dude went online and made some wild claims like tax evasion worth 45 billion+ on Weibo.
C-Netizens overreacted (after learning about astronomical amount) and literally forced CCP to take action and investigate her. So, she was never officially banned or charged with anything.... her taxes came back clean and now she is finally allowed to work in the industry.

Tho I am baised but she is the most beautiful Korean woman I have seen in my life.

I will prolly watch it for ML and may drop it down the line. When something good drops.... TBH, it's such a waste ML acting was superb in L&P (one of the best, if not the best modern C-drama in existence) and I was looking forward to his return after the scandal.
I hope someone signs him with Jing Yi again and we get to see them recreate the magic of L&P.

LoL looks like your taste has changed but I feel 50/50 about this particular drama. I was under the assumption drama will portray a "Female player" and tells us unique story of promiscuous woman covering up her tracks, but what we got was sorry ass cheater who doest even know how to do shit.

First, I will apologize if you acknowledge FL wrongdoings, but I don't think it was a feminist drama.... we should stop bringing gender into everything. It was simple drama, which depicted the suffering of one human being at the hands of another human being.
Secondly manipulation is a skill but its a weak skill as compared to the hard/raw power like business cuz in manipulation. You are relying on the power of another person to get the deed done... that person may fall for your tricks once or even twice but eventually he will see through it and you will be left with nothing. Hard power like "official position" or business is more important cuz you can utilize them at will... in the end. I would still say, your original comment came out way to strong and it sounds like things certain people will coloured say in L.A.

I agree with everything you have said up to the point of stabbing ML, even if someone is clinically proven to be mental patient in court. State doesn't just let them get away with murder, the person is forcefully sent to mental asylum to be locked away, away from general public.

Feminist debate started in ep 24 after FL stabbed the only person, who was supporting her without a reason or merit and if you try to read the comment of the person, who used that word.

That would make you "Egalitarian" not a feminist cuz the very core/definition of feminism stands is.... equality through advancing woman rights NOT HUMAN RIGHTS. After that there are no check and balance in the ideology to control extreme behaviour.
From what I have heard China doesn't need feminism either.... CCP is keeping wraps on the things, the dating market and situation there is ten times as compared to USA. We are talking about 100 Million+ men, who won't marry no matter what and 100 Million + woman in 25-35 range, who are desperate for marriage with extreme requirements but can't get the other half to agree.

I can agree with you on almost everything you have said but still, you have been around CD dramas, and you know there is a pattern of man hating in releases of past two years. Unfortunately, people have developed trauma, and they tend to act out and to make matters worse. The complete bliss and enabler attitude of female audience on MDL isn't helping their case either.
If you think its one of the big reasons, I am major C-Drama watcher and I dropped c-dramas cuz of this very reason (I recently returned after 4-month hiatus).
I will prolly go back to K-dramas and other stuff, when new series drops !

I suspect even Minister Pei is alive and kicking and he has the antidote, or FL is going to contact that, female imperial physician to save his life.
