I also hope for good ending but I also know considering their speed, source material left in the novel is not enough for 10 episodes. If they really want to do it, they have to slow things considerably and also cover extra chap 170 and chap 171.
If they really covered chap 170, FL is done for, people will forget SRQ and turn on her, and criticism will be extremely harsh !

Its been a long time, since I have really hated some character in tv series. Last time that happened was in the last season of "Sons of anarchy" and I was 14 that year, so I hated the last boss and ML death with passion....but SQR made me relive those moments, I really hate self-proclaimed righteous mfos like him.

Only if they had enough intelligence to detect that, Liu Xue Yi was a GREAT VILLAN in destined and could have casted him again in this one. If they choose him, they won't have to put one tenth of the effort to make him stand out or make audience sympathize with him.

Secondly, SML was eunuch in first life and emperor castrated him. So, he can just use his fingers and not have proper sex with anybody and drama confirmed, FL treated him like and considered him slave. Although I have Youku subscription, at this point I don't plan on buying their shitty express package and will visit kisskh to watch few minutes of last episode too see. If its worth investing my time in !
at this point, that's what we can only do to hurt the production and I recommend everybody to not pay them a dime more by buying "Express package". It won't hurt producer that much cuz they are swimming in ad-revenue, but it will hurt her credibility for future projects!

The previews 31-32 are following the novel to core and if FL betrayed ML at this stage by listening to SQR and showering him with Love. The amount of extreme backlash, FL would receive would be immeasurable.
If SQR turn now, wtf they are going to fill remaining 8 episodes with and the real possibility/chance of turning SQR would be at his place attack scene.
When FL gave him options to reform and if story was fucked to such extent, leads would have not picked the role.

That's why I am here too cuz there is nothing worth watching currently airing right now, I had high hopes for "As Beautiful as You" cuz of Tan Song Yun but its mid so for and I will rate it around 7.5.
Then there is LYF, I originally planned to watch it after its season 2 started airing and even went as far as to watch one episode of season 1, but I then read the comment section of season 2 and its "WARZONE". One-person said, one ML "acts like sun shine out of his asshole", while another chimed in to say her ML picks everything else above FL.
People were at each other throats and I was thinking, its 8th episode of season 2 and FL has somehow managed to lead 4 men on for 46 episodes with emperor, famous enemy general and married man in the mix. I probably won't like this and lets skip this one !

Its cuz (I hate to say this and will get hate for it) ML can't have second options available to him in female empowerment dramas, its HARAM for him to makes FL jealous cuz he was other females chasing him or try to go to any places, which full-fills his sexual desires. That's why Xao Ru niece proposal scene and brothel scene were removed cuz ML in female empowerment drama must practice purest form of celibacy like a Hermit monk.
Not only its HARAM for him to look, feel, chased by other woman....he has to have lower IQ/ intelligence than FL, so he will "F" up and intelligent FL will save him.
These are all primary tenets Female empowerment drama SANCTITY and nobody can challenge them !

If they go with "past life is a dream sequence" than they can't change the ending in a meaningful way to give HE/save face for SRQ. The entire objective of this "revision of story" was to glorify SRQ and shit on ML to make him even more of a cuck, than he already was in novel !
So, they can't go with past is a dream sequence cuz it will clash with their "Primary Objectives" of making a cuck out of ML (I am saying this cuz Brothel scene and Xiao Ru niece proposal to ML scenes were removed cuz a man can't have second options in empowerment c-drama).
I believe they will go back to first life and give absolute power to SML, then leads will fight against him and FL may even threaten him with her life.....after observing the leads romance and undying love. They would make the HERO OUT OF SRQ cuz he will give in and let them live together.
Then FL will always remember his GREAT SACRIFICE and LOVE HIM EVEN MORE THAN ML....but they can't be together !
I have a lingering feeling; this is what's going to happen !

There is a big problem with this ending and that, it doesn't appease FL empowerment theme !

Judging by the speed of things, hunting event will be wrapped up in ep 31 and 32 and after that, the whole rebellion event will take nothing more than 3 episodes or 4 at max. The point I am trying to make here is novel/story, if they plan to follow it may be wrapped in 4 episodes.
So, I suspect due to CCP ban on time-travel dramas. They would declare the whole ordeal/second life as dream sequence, and we will be back to their first life. The remaining 4 episodes will try to wrap up their first life.If they don't follow this "Story arc"...then I am like 80% sure, they have ruined the ending or added short third life !

There are clear indications of storyline being edited for the sole purpose of glorifying one character, they are purposefully removing his big crimes and inventing justifications for his "delusional actions", they went far to edit today's scene to make sure FL can't draw clear cut boundaries with him.
All of this point to one thing, SRQ will be forcefully give good ending?

I don't agree with this interpretation cuz he clearly knows; she is up to no good but he is obsessed with getting rid of warlords and restore imperial authority over the country.
This has only been a one year till FL rebirth and before that, they were squarely in Nobel families/ Shangguan camp. So, to us viewers it looks like he is idiot for not trust leads, but he doesn't know about rebirth and is judging from her actions of past 19 years.
Consort Ru was in his camp for more than decade, so he is not going to go against life objective of destroying nobel families. Just cuz FL has done some good deeds recently !
