Yep and to be honest those longing glances have stooped after banquet (ML, FL and SML performance) scene and today FL went far and burned SML by telling him, he was her slave for 18 years of their life together.
but in this life due to his actions (after learning the truth about past life) he doesn't even deserve to be her slave.
I personally believe whole production seemed rushed and drama doesn't clarify things and leave them for open interpretation, which leaves flood gates open for trolls to seep in and make mess.

but they didn't show it in the drama, so jealous b... its !

I personally believe there was no need to give face to SQR by nerfing the assassination scene in upcoming episode and yes they have a lot of ground to cover in 12 episodes and judging by their speed. We may see "Hunting event" in ep 32 !

Yep everything is good and today even Emperor paid the price for forcing the leads to separate😂😂😂. I hope your comment is not directed at me cuz I was praising FL for scolding SQR today by calling him slave and for standing up for ML.

Yep I just hope they properly covered the "in the name of consort Ru" arc by ML, removed FL jealousy scenes and nerfed the assassination scene.

No Crown prince did come back and was there but Emperor acknowledged the ability of his daughter and made her Princess reagent and ML prime minister cuz crown prince was not adult yet. Crown prince had no interest in ruling and hence after 8 years...He abdicated the throne to FL.

No although they are removing leads romance scene like "ML going to brothel to attend banquet hosted by his senior, FL heard and though he was up to good and went there to catch him"....they also have changed, how some scenes played out like in novel SML did try to assassinate ML by hiring assassins and playing the defender card....but overall main points are still there !
The had removed a lot of political stuff and went through chapters at light speed but as of right now, plot is still going in the direction of Hunting event and subsequent rebellion. It looks confusing right now cuz I believe director/producer wants to give full 10 episodes to the final power-play.

It should happen at end of ep 39 to start of ep 40 and they may give us special episode, which will cover ML losing memory arc.

in novel she CASTRATED the Emperor with that drink and her reasoning was, now he has no other choice and he has to choose between Fl brother and prince Su.
So, I think that what happened here !

Please tell me how this drama is and is it worth the watch?
I was planning to watch it after season 2 drops and even watched one episode of season1 yesterday, but people are out here for blood and defending their favourite male lead.
Tell me is the angst that bad and why FL hasn't made any decision yet !

You told me yesterday, there is no love triangle but people are at each other throats in comment section. I have watched one episode of season 1 but if FL is like a confused and non-decisive person.
Who can't even make her mind about something as important as love, then I am good and Princess Royal is enough for me !

The novel writer is a messy person, who added details without clear cut narrative and then reedited the manuscript again and again to justify somethings. Whole thing looks like a accidental creation, without clear narration and flow of things !

Yep you are right about it but this drama actually needed somewhere like 70-80 episodes cuz "F" romance...the political stuff is very choppy and they are cutting important details left and right cuz of episode limit.
We are episode 27 now and they have to somehow fit 40 (total 169) chapters worth of political stunts and information into 13 episodes and now all hell will brake loose !

You are right about LR being a horrible person but drama cut a lot of detail, which were needed to explain why she didn't loved SQR at all.
She was trying to use SQR as replacement for ML by doing the same things they did together (cheating scene in chp 170), like taking same route, same restaurant, she kissed him the same way and even tried to have sex like they did !
But the experiment failed cuz SQR didn't make her heart flutter,she didn't feel love or felt butterflies in stomach, novel even went far and mentioned (he never made her cum and ml could do it with his fingers alone), didn't full filed her needs, desires or anything. She couldn't replace ML with him, which pissed her even more and she hated and fought with ML even more for it. Now she whole heartedly believed ML love QZZ and her but her ego didn't let her accept her fault and asked him to come back. So. She has always loved ML to the level of obsession. She even admitted it herself, that you can live alone but I can't and hence need someone around me.
Like tomorrow "SQR catching FL scene" we are supposed to receive definitive confirmation that SQR was her slave nothing else and she treated him like one....not her equal like ML but I bet trash director will nerf it.
Again I am not defending her cuz she is impossible to love but her biggest fear is loss of trust in their relationship and ML leaving her like in past life.
SQR was nothing but a good slave to her and you will see, she will go to great lengths to save ML from his own stupidity/assassination!

The novel is written from FL point of view, so we don't know for sure but it was their first night of marriage.
ML though she would be overbearing and throw tantrums but she didn't and he was afraid to touch her but she brought up consumination herself and didn't judged him for his background!
