The reason maybe different but FL still sent elsewhere regardless the reason. The Double has this kind of plot too with the girl she take identity from, I watched them, not to her grandmother, but still abandoned by her own father. I'm saying that this kind of plot hv been used alot with minor tweak here and there whether the reason or the place.

I'm sorry to hear what she's been through, I always think she's pretty & lovely, her face may not the standard beauty c-ent usually has but that's what make hers even more unique & stands out to me, she's beautiful & one of the best c-actress to me, I really liked her acting. I never understand the hate get thrown towards her (seen it during The Longest Promise too) & I can only say hopefully those haters can reap what they sow, People who mock her appearance need to see themselves in the mirror & be ashame of themselves.

Why not wait & see their progress? I prefer the ML to be like this, we hv too many weak ML so to see this kind of ML feel more intriguing to see how will he adapted to her needs etc

Ye Xian has more flashy costumes changes than Yan Yun, aura farming seems more intentional on YX character than ML, even complete with his own sedan & personal assistant 😂

We see these kind of background often (FL being sent elsewhere & raised by their grandmother), like in The Double, The Rise of Ning (played by the same FL), maybe it's represent common practice happening at that time.

This actually nice to hear/ quite intereting idea, wish in the novel they can just skip all of her 1st life time fiasco & went straight to her second with her knowledge from the 1st & maybe only show a glimpse of it through flashback 😅

FL is 18 in the drama, her father mentioned this at ep 4, ML age in the drama hasn't been disclosed so far, am guessing they'll make the gap lesser than the novel

Iqiyi hv the trailer for future ep but the trailer I was talking about is a longer main trailer & different than both main trailer that got posted on iqiyi (1 trailer) & wetv (2 trailers).

I'm watching the ep on wetv so idk about iqiyi subs but usually mango is the worse from all.
