Like it's everything what I wanted them to be, suspense thriller with a heartwrenching/ heartwarming set up & a touch of romance.

And idk why ppl would choose one character over another, I find them complimenting eachother really well & makes the drama really interesting & intriguing, am loving all the characters!

8.1 rating, seriously? Am legit doubting the taste of the people who purposely rated this drama down.
2021 is not a good year for kdrama for me.
I find less and less kdrama pique my interest or the kind that manage to keep me watching, until I watch this one.
Only 4 ep has been released but I can recognize a gem when I see it, it's just amazing y'all.

that recommendation page is obviously meant for similiar drama recommendation, so I won't recommend fans for doing so. It can be misleading for those who's looking for similiar drama and find 0 similiarity after watching, they might be feeling cheated 😅.

Remember that he's innocent unless he's proven guilty & as far as I remember the case is closed, no further news about him being charged guilty or anything like that & you know how sensitive knetz can be, if it's proven to be true there's no way they can throw that off under the rug nor it doesn't blow up like any other cases & bring any damage to the drama itself, so I take it as false accusation & some ppl just want to ruin his reputation.
Killing one's image & reputation without base is a serious matter, I hope he can fill the charge to those ppl as well who want to take advantage from him.

But the drama production didn't even do that, so why would I strip away the comedy & go with the flow characters like you would hv suggest? It'd be a total different drama then.
And as far as I remember, TONT isn't even this gory or dealing with matters seriously.
Am just telling what I saw, nothing more nothing less, with all fairness.

It's been only 4 episodes & I ship Dan Hwal with literally everyone.
Yes literally, the Dad, the son, the wife, the villain & enemy, to even supporting characters like the detective 😂

On the first ep with historical setup I find it weak but her character there was meant to be that way I guess, because to be fair she had a few lines there with a special background character to consider & after that (in the modern day & present time) she's good.

Some fans could be just desperate enough to recommend their fav drama for a bigger audience despite it has no similiarity whatsoever with the other drama 😅 which's odd & I won't recommend it as well.

Very different & way darker than the two mentioned

This is freakin' good, with a great & complex written script & characters, I find it very underrated & underhype. It even manages to exceed my expectation, loving everything about this drama, as expected from The Guest writer-nim.
The father & son relationship, his son, mystery & bad karma surround them, their potential upcoming angst & complicated relationship are just too good.
Every single cast also killing their roles, I love both ML & FL characters, can't wait for their next episodes!

Congrats Show Window team, ep 8 holds 6.467% viewership rating & peak at 7.79%, for a paid cable tv channel with far less popularity their rating is beyond great & the highest rating Channel A ever gets!
Even it's hard for TVN to achieve this kind of rating these days.

They have no right? Lol, who are you to speak, it's theirs, Koreans history, they had the right to shut it down if they find the history so badly distorted, it's not yours to speak. So if you don't find it offensive just watch it quitely, the more you blindly defending the drama like crazy & talk nonsense, the more it shows how little emphaty you have towards them, seriously.
And don't speak in the name of democracy, the people, victim & victim's family knows it better than you, they're the one who fights for it & pay the price.

True, a pity, maybe because some just forgot how democracy we enjoyed it right now, someone paid it high with their lives, the least we can do is respect it but it only takes a little entertainment to forget it & blindly defending a drama without actual understanding why it's even an issue for the people in SK.

If the victim & victim's family themselves who experienced it in their life find things in the drama are distorted, who are you to speak they were not? So you know it better than those who experienced it themselves?

Well, maybe learn to emphatize with the people who suffer through it. if one can't make contribution, learn to respect those who does or never belittling their history to say the least?

What would you feel if one of your family member died over something injustifiable but ppl publish it as if it's the other way around? Can you say the samething? Just suck it off & live with it, it's just for entertainment? Entertainment >> Real people?
It's not like, just because some okay with it then it means it can be applied to others & it's ok to normalized everything.

There's a say ppl won't understand unless they're the one who experienced it, I guess this is one of the case.
