Tbh am quite surprise, Disney+ had a very little to none Kdrama collection & out of tons Kdrama title out there, they choose to add this one, knowing the issue has been brought up even at their early shooting.

Mi Ra is hard to read & I think So Min portray her character and complexity really well tho am not sure if I'm ready to hate her character just yet, lol. Lol, ever heard there's not enough development given for viewers to believe the romance a drama trying to shown? That's what I feel from them, it has nothing to do with their look. And it's not my lost since I care for none of the characters nor any of the things they shown capture my interest. There're plenty other promising drama I haven't explore either so I don't see the need to force myself to continue those that I don't enjoy. A lot of drama capture my interest from the get go, but I just don't get that from ALP.
Maybe someday I'll give another try, but that too only if there's no other drama I want to watch (which's unlikely)/ not in the near future.

Well, idk why would you bring the actress look, I have no problem with that. Good for you for loving it but I just can't buy the forced romance they show, there's no gradual step, it's just bam right there as early as it can gets which's why it's hard for me to buy & I find Xu Kai's character rather bland, thing is barely happening in the beg series doesn't help it either, so yeah, I can't continue no matter how I've tried since there's nothing pull me in.

True, the author even make a whole dedicated narrative to put more emphasis to his physical nature. From what I remember he is described as pale, looked fragile but manly with his strong gaze, exactly like LYX rn 🤭
