Ahaha Bai Lu herself is really pretty & the two buns is making her look very cute, tho am not sure if it'll match Ye Xi Wu's former character since what I capture from the novel is that she's quite an irritating character (closer to childish than cute, in contrast to Li Susu who's mature) until Li Susu came in/ taken her over 🤣

But yesss agree, their costume, make up, look, everything screams S++++ tier, kuddos to the production team!
Right?! I really can't wait for this drama to air!!

Li Susu occupies Ye Xi Wu's body who mistakenly (well, it's rather backfired actually) had consumed a sort of poison called silk worm with a strong pheromone like effect that will occur every month at 15th. She will suffer a greatly amount of pain if she doesn't form a sort of skinship with Tantai Jin. I think both Xi Wu & Tantai consumed it that's why it only affects them to eachother (but Tantai manage to consume the only antidote remains which Xi Wu unable to), this is basically the reason why the former Ye Xi Wu end up marrying Tantai Jin.

Also mind that atm both Ye Xi Wu & Li Susu were in a hate relationship with Tantai Jin, so there's a huge amount of push and pull there 🤭😅.

It's a happy & very satisfying ending, the novel is very angsty but rest assure the ending is really worth it ❤

Ahaha, I saw her style with two buns you're referring to as well & I agree 😂.
Hopefully that style will be used for short term role like her disguised role in dream sequence ( considering she has quite plenty of it) or something like that rather than making it permanent as Xi Wu's style.
As for her picture above I think it's Li Susu hairstyle (looking from the scene they about to take), she looks really pretty there ❤

As for Start Up, I remember the ML kiss the FL when she's sleeping & the whole identity lies clearly used to his advantage just came up as manipulating the FL to me, let alone how the drama itself romanticized problematic work ethics & violence tendency like sailing without map, punching their boss, smashing name plates.. screams red flag to me.
Born Again, however, it's on a whole new level, it includes stalking, instigating murder, etc 😂

Rather than saying FL stole the show, the more appropriate terms would be Female-centric dramas to me, where the FL is the central focus of the drama.

Great article! I don't actually mind with drama showing this kind of stuff if they ever addressed what is wrong as wrong & put it as bantering or self reflecting material (ie: Love is Sweet, Moonlight), the problem started when they keep romanticizing their red flags behaviour & give them a reward instead, like all that triggered heavy redflags on Born Again & Start Up and the drama choose to flip their moral stand upside down just to defend / portray the ML behaviour as "right", it's giving me pure headache that a complete production team consists of its writer, director, editor, producer, manage team, choose to portray it that way, turn a blind eye on what message the drama is actually told the viewers.
