Ahaha don't mind it, idk why popularity is a freaking important matter for cnetz that make them feel so entitled to held high horse & belittling others who don't, when having more popularity doesn't equally mean they have a better acting.
For instance, in kdrama Lee Min Ho & Park Shin Hye might those who hold the popularity crown but were they known for their great acting? I don't think so, there's a lot better/ great actors with far less popularity
But I also don't see their fans belittling their co partner just because they are not as popular & their bias deserve "more" than this not so popular co partner
Unlike what we often see here on cdramas. & yeah bashing/ hating other drama too (&or pairing) over something just as groundless is *face palm that's just pure childish.
Idk about others but I appreciate actors with great acting over anything. Actors popularity, hype or looks meant nothing to me/ never become a determining factor to watch any of their dramas. But if they're great at acting, I'll watch their drama over anything even if they have 0 popularity.

Used to only watch kdrama but this year I tried to watch more cdrama. But how surprised I am to see that cdrama fans got so much extreme on the cp thing, boycotting & create fan wars, feel self entitled on whose bias more famous & belittling who don't, good lord what a toxic community.
Never encounter this kind of thing on those plenty years I watch kdrama, you'll see alot well known actors got paired with rookie actress vice versa & the fans will support it fully, unless there's reason ie. alleged assault, too much age gap, etc. you won't see this kind of fanwars like what you see often in the backstage production/ fans of cdramas (as in it's even caught in the radar of a newbie cwatchers like me) & how sad that I don't even particulary talking about this drama only.

Yes exactly, it's not her fault, it's the fault of some of her extraordinary fans that goes beyond the norms, but these so called fans shd know that like it or not, their doing will affect the way other ppl seen her too, I pity YZ tbh.

Tbh am tired to see all this drama within' drama production, can't these fans just appreciate their hard work & support their drama as any Normal fans will do? esp with this cancelling habits c-ent industry has rn, they shd be grateful they got project to be released instead of this boycotting act, adding another headache after headache & taint the actors name, smh.
Why is it rated so high? Chinese dramas get a lot more than they deserve. Chinese dramas deserve at most 5 points.
This is the first 59th ep long drama that I binged all the ep in 3.5days only as it hooked me right from the start & I can't stop watching till it completes, it's hard to move on from this drama & other drama feel bland and drags after completing this one, it also has the most beautiful love story I've ever seen so I think their rating is very well deserved :)

But I think am gonna put this on hold for awhile, am currently at ep 27 but I don't see myself rooting for the CP anytime soon as I don't see the love but only seen the 1st ML claiming the FL left & right insisting his feeling instead, it just bothers me & their arc on mortal realm I find to be boring as well. Tbh, am only liking 2nd ML & Lord Snake character so far, but I think it won't end well either for them, so idk if it'd be worth it to continue but fast forward everything or maybe I shd just put them on hold/ drop it altogether 😂, but, thank you!
But on a lighter note, The White Truck of Doom is literally making his appearance in the first second of the trailer, so you might wanna see your buddy here 🤣
Am on their 20th ep, but am already pulling my hair, I despise 1st ML mother so much, gosh I can't stand her, what a scheming evil bitch! And I like 2nd ML more than the 1st ML. 2nd ML life is just sad while the 1st ML born with silver spoon & everything has been served to him in a silver/ gold plate.
I feel like the 1st ML insisting his own feelings & trespassing his boundaries to his brother's fiancee even when he doesn't know where the FL's heart lies just yet or if she ever love him, it just doesn't sit right to me. Also, I don't see their bond is deep enough to make their mounting obstacles lies in their future & their suffering gonna be worth it, rather not sold on the romance here.
I find LAR love story way more beautiful & I love Si Feng character way more than Xu Feng (pun intended), Si Feng knows how to respect the FL feelings, knows how to back off when he think the FL love another man & try his best to support her love and happiness even if it's hurting him inside, while here I almost can't stand Xu Feng, tho his mother evil deed & schemes is indeed play a bigger part in this.
The FL is better off without them, she can choose an easier love life & future, why bother having the troublesome esp if their love ain't even that deep (I don't think if she even love him), rather one sided from the 1st ML insisting feeling (hence it's hard for me to root for him as he bring even more baggage, his mom hatred to the FL). I can't help but think with my brain since my heart doesn't buy their relationship just yet.
I like the bromance here way more than the romance, but I sense it's even set to doom 🙈
Their ending is not ambiguous at all tho? It's a clear sad ending to me, he died & that's for sure. The leads…
No, Qi Yan died & there's nothing indicate he is living outside the palace. Many were speculated like that when they watch the last ep without sub, but it's all clear (that he died) after watching it with sub.
Prince Guang himself wasn't even aware Qi Yan is that sick, when he find out it's already too late, he's even upset to the divine healer to have this arrangement with Qi Yan (counter QLZ carefree mind poison with highly dose medicine which later led him to his death due to internal organ damage) behind his back.
As for the Yu Er smile brightly at the end, it's because she has promised Qi Yan that she will live happily for the rest of her life on his behalf, so her smile is only to show/ indicate that she's fulfilling his wish for her & is happy by the end.
Painfully waiting for his upcoming drama to air 🤧 Southwind, Deep lurk, Agarwood I need them to be released asap, I want more drama with Cheng Yi as main ML 😭

Was the hand that caught him refer to / use as a metafore of his own bloody hand (responsible to other person's death) or was that refer to the hand of the deceased himself.
I guess we can only wait & see more hint with more ep 😂
