Not really, given the amount of screentime, NJH is indeed the main ML, the writer can choose whichever ML will become her love interest without breaking any contract, this happens on another drama too so it can happen in here too

Yes, tbh I really don't get why the writer make him the ML, do they expect us to get swoon over some move of an opportunist guy like him? I mean common, what are they thinking?

And ofc the opportunist won't miss his chance to touch DM's face & hair when she's sleeping.

So I haven't watch ep 11 but from ep 12 preview I think DM said to NDS that he is not the NDS from the letter, if that so, I think it serves him right.

So I think Samsan Tech is in a mess rn because of NDS's immaturity & being unprofessional as always, ignoring HJP advise.

Thank you sm for pointing this out, this exactly is, NDS traits that I dislike, totally spot on!! why even if she doesn't end up with HJP, I'd rather have her end up with a different person, because she deserves someone better & I don't think this drama will have a good moral message if she ends up with NDS, there I said it.

Y'know there's a lot more of HJP traits that SDM hasn't find out, which can be use as a determine factor SDM realizing her feelings to him (if the writer choose to use them right), compare to what NDS has in store rn:
1. How HJP is the one who always support her behind her back, including mentioning her name as the potential girl in the swing
2. How HJP is an orphan & what has he been through to become of what he is right now
3. How the letters are helping HJP too & accompany him in someway just like for DM does
4. How he is a lonely person & has no one around supporting him.
5. How despite his harsh exterior, he's a tender person inside, he even treat NDS better, in all fairness compare to how NDS has treated him so far
6. His closeness with grandma

BONUS: The look at In Jae face will be when she find out HJP is DM boyfriend, like wHAT? HoW? WheN?WherE? Lol, it must be entertaining to watch.

Lol I don't know where you're reaching, but he call him that because he's indeed her mentor, senior at work & she know him as her senior first only later found out that he is her penpal. She's now still being confuse & still need time resorting her feelings. Ofc she'll be dissapointed when she find out other person is pretending to be him. And to my knowledge, she's dissapointed that NDS doesn't feel like the NDS she used to wrote those letters, but she often being curious on HJP & feel connected with him in someway regardless he shd be a stranger for her atm.

He's already making progress by opening up & admitting his love to DM. Also, whenever HJP & DM met, he never pretend & always show his real side, even if he have to scold her at times, so I guess DM already see the real him.

On Reply 88, I don't mind if the FL end up with either male lead, because you see, both male leads pull their feet one step backwards & give a fair share of competition in winning the FL's heart.

But here, the main ML not only use the 2nd ML background to his own max advantage, he's even adding it by keeps cutting 2nd ML's way to the FL & his friends even act like his bodyguard blocking 2nd ML's way to her*facepalm

Regardless it's a lie or not, the letters has become a part of her life, the source of happiness who helped her passing her hard times & shaping her as an optimist person as she is rn.
We don't know everything they had shared on the letters yet.
Knetz translated one of letters, the one where DM compare HJP handwritings, & there HJP thanked DM for being exist & were there, helping him getting through his life/ days as well, beautiful actually.
She may not meet him as person yet, but you'll still see the soul of the person who write it & feel some connection.
Especially when we see how HJP growing up alone as an orphan, I believe writing those letters also help him in someway & he might pour his heart in it too, although he might not want to admit it just yet.

So from KSH last day of shoot, we get to see that HJP & DM were there on the deck from Suzy's ig post.
There's also a video on YT show HJP running on that deck (DM wasn't shown present, but there was another pic shown she was present in the same area).

My mind goes everywhere, so my take is probably they all are gonna took some distance to reassure their feelings, which direction DM feelings leaning towards to, and with the last twist they give to HJP, he probably close his self off & took some distance thinking he is undeserving.

So the scene where he is running probably a scene where HJP & DM confirming their feeelings?
Otherwise, why else would HJP running on that deck?
