Ikr? Their scifi elements is the reason why I'm stay but this incesty romance seems to be their top priority at ep 8, it took too much screentime while unnecessary.
I'm also tired with the whole repetitive rescuing Tae Yi over and over and over, sigh.

I'm seriously doubting Korean broadcasting channels credibility & morality nowadays, first with KBS on how they romanticized a killer ML & make him like a saint just because he is the ML, makes me want to throw up & felt immoral just by watching it. And now these with SBS, yes I see how they promote it that way, sigh, I shdn't have start this drama if I know they'll romanticize this mother & son relationship like this.

I hope so, I really2 hope they won't cross that lines, because idk if I can handle that when now it's even already sooo uncomfortable for me to watch with them keep dropping that romantic hint after hints.

I really need them to settle with their relationship asap, means, Tae Yi know he is her son, or even develop romance with Min Hyuk instead.

Lol, then good for you, me on the other hand, it only gave me shivers knowing the mother would develop certain romantic feelings to her own son & see him as a man not knowing he's her son, it creeps me out x'D

Damn I'm almost throw up seeing all those romantic scenes on the first half of ep 8, yuck!
Yep, that light switch, toilet paper, bed room & living room scenes, omg were the writer & director-nim out of their mind to insert that kind of scenes between a mother & son, Gawd! Was it really necessary??

Also, that last scene of ep 8 make no sense, unless they're able to teleport, but even if they're able, it wasn't even needed, so weird, lol

Well the more appropriate question would be WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY to give a romantic element & thropes to a mother & son scenes knowing that it will disgusted most viewers who watch it?
Especially when it doesn't add any value nor substance to the plot except than it become such a major turn off value/ degrading the whole drama itself.

Because it's disgusting to see, duh & it's not us viewers who keep dropping hint of the possible romance between this mother & son, it's the production team who keep pushing using romantic thrope on them & even 2020 Tae Yi see him as a man & developing feelings! Don't blame viewers when the character itself is thinking the same thing, LMAO!

It's obvious & doesn't need to be told/ shown. Since either option they chose the result will still the same=same DNA.
Whether they went with:
1. time loop (means only 1 universe exist and any past change will change the future) then there'll be only 1 Tae Yi exist, if there's more then she's only came from a different time line (past/ future self)
2. Alternate universe. Based on what they're told us, originally there's only 1 main universe exist but then if someone change the past it'll create an alternative time line/ new universe -> same Tae Yi, only being multiplied.
3. Pararel universe. Either ver of Tae Yi will still had the same exact DNA. Why? Because you won't be exist if you're not born from the same parent, you won't be named Tae Yi & had the exact same face, habits/favs & both were physicists on top of that.
Personality wise they can be different based on their own life experience but they will still had the same exact DNA from the things I've mentioned above.

To put it simple, they can do a DNA test between the 1992, 2010, 2020, 2050 Tae Yi & the result will still be the same.

But Tae Yi even ask Jin Gyeom herself if he likes her romantically! So???
Why blame viewers to think they're hinting for romance if the character itself is thinking the same thing?! LOL!

1st, JG's mom real name is Tae Yi, not PSY, PSY is her fake identity in order to lived on 1992. People at Alice refer MH lover as Tae Yi, not Sun Young.

2nd, being his mom or not, Tae Yi had the same exact DNA with JG's mom, because they're the same person, she's probably either her past self or her alternate universe version, which means, same DNA & she'll be still related to JG = incest.

3rd, How can you be sure she's not his mom?
What are the chances to have the exact same face, the exact same name, the exact same habit, faves, etc but ended up as different person?

4th, even despite all that, wouldn't having a lover who had the exact same face like your own mom still ick you in some way?

Lots of people seeing that & the production team were so obvious keep hinting at that, even YTY has asked JG if he likes her, she keep thinking of him, she was portrayed as damsel in distress everytime, people cheering at them as a couple & now even they used childhood thrope & cohabitation completed with all the melo song, long shot & slow mo romantic scenes, lol.

Not yet but seem to be heading that way, he's already asking her for that, lol.

I stayed because am curious with their plot but the way the production team keep forcing this absurd romance line is seriously threw me off everytime, so gross!!

His reaction "It hurts y'know! How could you?!?" had me rolling on the floor, LMAO, was it supposed to be that comical?

I agree that I think they went with 1 main universe rule but then they may diverse in multiple universe/ create an alternate universe if people travelled back & change the past. So they're basically the same people.

But the thing that doesn't add up now is Tae yi's age, my guess is the current Prof Tae Yi might have travelled to the future accidentally when making some experiment hence later she stayed at 2050 before went back to 1992, but idk if that's possible, what happen during 2020-2050 then, what determines their time loop/creating alternate universe rule? If 1992 Tae yi's time card is the reason 2020 Tae Yi able to discover time travel, where's the beginning/ending? That will make an infinite loop.

Does the accidental time travel Tae Yi made will help her colleagues to discover Alice & settle on 2050?

So in short:
Does goes to the future >> time loop
Went back to the past >> time loop,
but if they change something extreme in the past >> creating alternate universe?

So that's why Oh Won seem to hv recognized 2020 Jin Gyeom on 2010?

I hope they can settle the rule asap otherwise they can be too confusing for me to understand to the point I doubt if they even understand their own rules, lol
