These are some of the dramas I watched and like. Would recommend ancient love poetry but you said you don't like xanxia.

Who is wu yin yan. Don't believe everything you hear, lots of it is just anti and gossip. Even yang yang and dilraba got bad rep with their dramas, as long as you're in the public eyes and you're popular, someone will want to gossip about you and bring you down. As a fan I will believe in confirm sources only. xukai has been shooting nonstop, so if he does take a break then good for him he can have some time to relax and rest before shooting a new project.

Everything is just rumor, nothing confirm yet. Lots of time xukai will get new project after he finishes shooting his drama, so we'll just have to wait to see what the new drama is. Whether he will film with ZY for HACN is still speculation. I don't know if xukai has other rumor projects that is not put on mdl like that fire fighter profession, but he always have new project once he finishes his shooting. Or he will be taking a break after SOJ nothing is confirm.

Is xukai using his own voice in this drama. Many of his dramas before I thought it was his own voice but I can never be sure since cdramas like to dub their actors.

Yeah I felt her acting was ok, not as bad as someone claimed that she doesn't show any emotions. If the character was written as cold then the actress has to play how the character was written in the script. Someone was saying she was typecasted, that why she has play many similar roles as an ice queen beauty. Since I didn't watch any of her other works I can't say, but I thought her performance in snow eagle lord was good and I like the character transformation she went through after falling for xueying. I didn't understand all the hatred of the actress either, was checking viki and someone commented she is ugly for no reason, or her acting ruin the drama or something similar. Snow eagle lord has its fault but it's not ruin by the fl, far from it. Probably a hater. I like the action in snow eagle lord too, I heard the director of snow eagle lord was a stunt coordinator, so that's why he focused so much on fight scenes, and that's why the fight scenes are done well.

Yeah otherwise it could get lots of criticism like what happened to fireworks of my heart.

I usually don't care about rating, but i thought it was too much of a coincidence that three of xukai dramas all went down by one rank all in one day, that why I thought it must be done by haters. But you're right it does not effect our enjoyment of this drama, as long as we got what we came for ^^

Even though his past four dramas have some flaws whether it's the ending, editing or putting too much focus on support characters, I like all the different characters he played. Hope his next dramas will be better since all of them will be S+ production. Snow eagle lord got lots of criticism due to the poor cgi.

Xukai playing a young judge, i'm down with it. Let see if he will takes this one. He has been rumor with zhou ye before, maybe this time will be true.

I heard of a rumor he'll be playing a firefighter with another ml, and one he'll be paired with Zhou ye and it's a court drama. Both sound interesting but not sure of either of them.
