I saw that post before. However I don't know if he got offer that role or another role. At the time there was a rumor of him being offered that drama with yangzi, but the role he got offered was dang Wei's role. I thought that role was too similar to his role in the legend that's why I didn't care for it. In term of popularity, I thought it's very likely that drama will become popular due to the subject and also having multiple male leads. However xukai is not like these actors who choose dramas in order to get popularity, otherwise why are so many of his dramas pairing most of the actresses are older than him and we all know it's very hard to get CP feeling if audiences think the actress is too old for him, therefore not many watch those dramas. I on the other hand like that he didn't care for popularity only, but pursuing acting as a career, as a result many of the actresses he paired with are much more experienced than him, I think he cares much more about getting to experience different roles and working with talented people rather than whether he will get popularity. That's why many times you see him promoting his drama by himself and not trying to selling cp like some actors and actresses were doing for their dramas before their airing.

Agree xukai deserves a better production. Heard his next dramas are all S+ so I'm looking forward to them. I hope he will get better offers in his future dramas going forward.

Yes I did, but this is because I like the genre. It's definitely an action drama since ml train and level up throughout the drama. I love the genre so it's totally my type of drama, but the romance is also really sweet, the main leads were kind of awkward when they first met, but as they spend time together and training together they became closer and support each other through hardship. Totally mine type of CP ^^

Turn out snow eagle lord does have romance since the main leads met and stay together through the whole drama, they only got separated here and there. I was a bit surprised with the romance of the main leads since trailer didn't show any ^^

Who's liqing, and the masters and situ hong are just supports hence they were not as important to the story line apparently since their characters writing were kind of a let down.

Why do watch it if you think it didn't have even one good episode. I like it and in my opinion the drama started out slow but ended well and have a strong powerful couple to root for from the beginning to the end. Great writing on main leads and their friends is what save this drama from being a failure due to many unnecessary plots of support characters that were kind of dumb down to make the antagonists appeared more menacing. This is a good action drama for those who looking for more of this type of genre.

I watches him from the beginning for his acting skills. Without acting skills he couldn't convince so many to fall in love with so many different personalities he plays.

This user probably wants to make trouble for xukai that's why they bringing in the fl and made it looks like they're a fan of the actress. Do not fall for their trick. There was another user on YouTube that keeps bashing on xukai and other actresses he paired with due to he stop pairing with bailu. Some of xukai fans were just responding back and as a result some fans of xukai don't have good feelings with bailu.

It should get better rating than legend. When drama ending ruin a whole drama, just speak of why good writing is so important no matter how good a drama started out if it didn't end well or it's confusing will lose audiences no matter how good the actors are.

Because in his dramas when he's main male leads fans always complain about him not getting screen times as a result dramas became flop just like the legend when the production tried to change the storyline to give second ml a change of character totally ruined the drama. Production should know by now those who watches drama for main leads will not take well when drama has too much focus on a minor character. Because when he does get screen times like once upon a time in lingjian mountain, that drama is rated well and he didn't need an fl to get good rating lol. You must be in love with him to follow him even though you said you don't like his acting lol.

Drama does not carry by actors alone without good director, screen writer and good production. I don't know what you're talking about, why you think a single actor has to carry the drama alone when he barely has screen times. Even popular actors can't save dramas if writing is bad or bad editing, or due to censorship. Remind me of li yi tong being blamed in the past if her drama flop when there were other actors and the whole production involved but she was the only one being blamed what a ridiculous statement.

I would've believe you more if you truly watch any of his dramas and watch it to the end than just drop dramas and said you watch it. Also the legend wasn't ruined by him, but by bad editing and by not following novel as it was written. I watched that drama right after story of yanxi palace and became a fan, so it turned out he gained many fans from that drama and even was praise for his acting. Also is legend the only drama you watched, xukai has so many memorable characters, what are you talking about.
