Is xukai using his own voice in this drama. Many of his dramas before I thought it was his own voice but I can never be sure since cdramas like to dub their actors.

Yeah I felt her acting was ok, not as bad as someone claimed that she doesn't show any emotions. If the character was written as cold then the actress has to play how the character was written in the script. Someone was saying she was typecasted, that why she has play many similar roles as an ice queen beauty. Since I didn't watch any of her other works I can't say, but I thought her performance in snow eagle lord was good and I like the character transformation she went through after falling for xueying. I didn't understand all the hatred of the actress either, was checking viki and someone commented she is ugly for no reason, or her acting ruin the drama or something similar. Snow eagle lord has its fault but it's not ruin by the fl, far from it. Probably a hater. I like the action in snow eagle lord too, I heard the director of snow eagle lord was a stunt coordinator, so that's why he focused so much on fight scenes, and that's why the fight scenes are done well.

Yeah otherwise it could get lots of criticism like what happened to fireworks of my heart.

I usually don't care about rating, but i thought it was too much of a coincidence that three of xukai dramas all went down by one rank all in one day, that why I thought it must be done by haters. But you're right it does not effect our enjoyment of this drama, as long as we got what we came for ^^

Even though his past four dramas have some flaws whether it's the ending, editing or putting too much focus on support characters, I like all the different characters he played. Hope his next dramas will be better since all of them will be S+ production. Snow eagle lord got lots of criticism due to the poor cgi.

Xukai playing a young judge, i'm down with it. Let see if he will takes this one. He has been rumor with zhou ye before, maybe this time will be true.

I heard of a rumor he'll be playing a firefighter with another ml, and one he'll be paired with Zhou ye and it's a court drama. Both sound interesting but not sure of either of them.

That what I was thinking too since i never like love triangle. Some of xukai dramas follow the same motif and added love triangle when it's fl centric, I was so bore with it, I thought it was lazy writing to keep pushing a love triangle when it's clear fl has feeling for ml. They want to make you feel sorry for the sml, but after watching story of yanxi place, xukai is the only sml I felt sorry for when he loss the fl to the ml. For other dramas that has xukai as ml, I felt annoyed when they tried to repeat the same love triangle since I don't care for drama that only focus only on romance. Some of those dramas that added love triangle really ruin the dramas for me. There're some exception when an sml was written well, and he doesn't ruin the plot or the characters of fl and ml like ancient love poetry or falling into your smile, snow eagle lord, etc.

Thanks for sharing the article. I saw that happened a lot after actors getting more popular, seems like what yu Zheng said is true. Some of his fans think yuzheng did it to xukai so he won't leave his agency if he becomes too popular.

Thanks for the clarification, I been wondering about that accusation about her mom being attacked by xukai fans, so it started from untouchable lovers. Yeah there was someone on youtube that accused xukai's fans of attacking bailu causing her to lose advertising opportunities, at the time I was thinking to myself how can any fans have that much power to influence an advertising company, it sounds absurd and she's an adult woman not a child that needs him to hold her hand if she gets attacked by some toxic fans. I felt as they're public figures, they will be face with anti-fans due to they're becoming more popular causing other fans of other celebrities to become jealous and want to make trouble for the both of them. Even xukai got some haters everytime he has a drama that hasn't air to badmouthing his acting or comments on his dramas when it just started to discourage people from watching those dramas.

That too, but I don't think xukai has that much power at the time to end the cooperation since it was yuzheng that pushed their CP. What I meant is for some actors promoting CP is a way to make them more popular when they're still new to the industry. I think that is yuzheng's intentions by pushing them together, but after they got too many negative press he started to realize it could hurt their careers as a result he ended their cooperation.

They had so many kiss scenes in the legend and they were paired back to back in the legend and arsenal military academy, it's a wonder they didn't become closer. I think they were friends I don't know whether there's anymore than that since they're actors and they also kiss other costars. What I noticed is xukai is shy in real life, and he does takes a while to warm up to his partners ^^
