However I think her position on the demon side must be high since they called her third priest I think, so if she betrayed them it will be a win for the human side, she could've lots of insider knowledge.

Yes a lot of things happen because of jr, but I still hold hope that they can change her and especially as qing shi is so stupidly trusting her 100%, he might be the one to get her to betray the demons since jr has hatred of humans because of what happened to her mother and her own experience as a child, putting someone like qing shi with jr might be an effective way to push her to choose the human side since I don't think she can do much now since her master is keeping watch over her and xue ying and his uncle now know her origin they will be more cautious around her and will not let her do what she wants.

I agree qing shi is dumb that's why I said he's the weakest character in this drama and why I always said both ji rong and qing shi are annoying because of how foolish he's around her, he refused to answer his brother is because jirong was discovered by him at their father tomb and he refused to believe anything bad about her even though it was her presence that brought all the bad things to his people. He trusts her over his brother that just proves how dumb he's.

Only sel, i'm more into wuxia type of drama compare to other drama, so this one fit my criteria ^^

I was anticipating this drama of xukai, but I also know drama that don't follow novel will get hate and since the vfx is not the best it gets even more hate. In term of storyline it's watchable and not as bad as some claimed, I felt bad for xukai though there will always be something outside of his control when it comes to the dramas he in either the fl get lots of hate for her look or her acting, or the support characters get too much screen times. His company is really bad if they can't give him the right resource, it looks to me he doesn't get help from them at all, rather he's the one helping the other artists in his company by being sign into the same projects with him. I have to say in term of court lady I love that drama and think it follows novel well, and the support characters are written well for the most part. What I hated the most is when they add unnecessary love triangle or lessen the ml and fl screen times to add love triangle for support characters, that's my pet peeves.

I love ep 29 because the main leads and his friends get lots of screen times. I don't think master sikong is the bad guy, he was helping his senior heal and got contaminated with his demon mark. Now jirong identity is known, xue ying and master sikong are starting to suspect jirong as being more than she appears. That situ hong giving jin qiu that stone that contaminated with demonic energy, and her power just exploded what going to happen to her by absorbing that energy, is she going to turn demonic. Also glad to see more interaction between you yue and yang bo, besides the main leads, they also make a nice couple. Drama is getting more exciting ^^

I actually find the writing for ji rong is good I just felt the weakest character in this show is qing shi since he's a fool in love. They're the easiest to be fooled. In term of jirong turning demon she's half demon and he felt pity for her after hearing from his master she was abused as a kid. The master is showing ji rong kindness as a human since he wants her to know not all humans are bad, he want her to choose the side of human. Who knows she could change side and help the human side I think that what's the master is hoping for .

The demons were let in by their own guy, so I kind of understand why they were unprepared for such an attack. Knight changfeng knew about the demon attack but kept his silent to hide his own fault. I assume there must be a protection device in place to keep the demons from being able to access that field that's why the demons even need knight changfeng to help them get in. The elders were not able to watch the fight on their side so they can only know from what the students were telling them. What I can't understand is how they easily believe xue ying would hurt his senior just to become a transcendent, they were willing to believe situ hong over all the other students' words just because they found his weapon.

Actually in early ep they all were suspected of him on being the senior of master sikong, but it's been 20 years so appearance can change and the guy refused to admit his identity. I watched many wuxia with this type of logic so it's just an acceptable reason for them to doubt his identity but can't prove it unless the person himself admit to it. Master sikong recognizes his senior but he wants to protect his identity since it will bring his school shame if it's found out his senior is tainted with a demon mark.

Is there even such a thing as choosing more screen times for his future projects because most of his past dramas his screen times are almost always less than support roles. There're some dramas that I don't mind so much when support roles are written well and are part of the storyline, others I just felt are a waste of space and bring down the dramas. I just hope in his future dramas the production will be better than sel and he gets the proper amount of screen times as ml.

I felt the opposite the cgi in my opinion has improve and not so bad. In term of storyline and editing are fine if we're talking about messy storyline and editing it can't compare to the legend, that drama editing is a mess and just not good. This one actually is easy to understand and the fight scenes are great. Now in term of characters I agree some annoying characters get too much screen times, the writing seem to favor the demon side while the good side keep losing either they were betrayed by their own side or they're just dumb except the main leads and their friends. Just hope they will get more screen times in future episodes.

Good to know, in order to root for the ml we need to know and love his character first. Xukai is a rare actor I will always follow regardless what drama he in, but I would like to also love the character he play as well and he never disappointed me before ^^

I'm hoping drama will give him more details about his upbringing and his family since from what you are saying novel doesn't go much into his character.

What's yzm's family background? Will there be any focus on his family since this drama will have heavy emphasis on fl family.

Yes he and jing qiu are investigating who is the elder who lost the box, however they're hiding it from the elders and the people at the school so it's a convenient excuse that a demon sneaked in. In a way I think situ hong activated those artifacts due to his demonic blood so it's not wrong to say a demon sneaked in besides jing qiu.
