In the case of the senior no one saw him killed that senior, in the case of his aunt the killer face wasn't showed so they only saw his back and nobody suspected he would kill own family. Why they didn't go to xue ying territory because they were suspicious of knight changfeng since he was suspected of killing sy's aunt. One of the elders stop xue ying from going, I think he's a spy working for the demons. And I agree with you, there's some lazy writing when it comes to some support characters especially jin rong, xue ying's uncles and qing shi. They just allow jin rong to go about her business with nobody checking on her. That uncle finding out about jin rong coincidentally just gave that demon a chance to impersonate him and used his identity to mix among them to carry out his plans, etc.

It a good watch I like it just support characters has too much screen times and they can be annoying that could affect your liking of the drama. If you're watching for the main leads.

Ep 22, and the main leads barely in the drama. Support characters have so much screen times, and what with jing qiu keeps getting that flashback and then fainted. I'm watching for xukai but he only showed up for only a couple minutes at the beginning. The demons seem to have lots of people working for them, while the xia clan keep losing more people. This ep feel like a filler ep, it's boring when xukai is not in it, drama should put the focus on xue ying and his group of friends. Although I do like the fights between the demons and the elders. That elder who creates a shield to trap the demons in that's a really cool technique ^^

Yes i saw it too, don't know why either until we watch to the end of the drama maybe we will find out.

If you want to see xukai not being serious, watch bts, he couldn't stop laughing 😂

Interestingly xueying never even had a meeting with him that I know of. He might stay to the end of the drama and won't be kill off until then.

What is it about?

His character loss his parents at a young age and he has a younger brother to take care of. Once he entered the changfeng academy, he'll lighten up a little, however he is determined to rescue his mother so he will always train to become stronger as how his character is written.

Yeah I'm wondering is that really the only way to activate his blood line. It's still too early to say, maybe his training will make him strong enough to break his mother restrictions by himself without needing to break the stone like how he was able to release his dong qui.

I find situ hong character is bearable compare to some other more annoying characters like qing shi and jing rong. At least his character has some character development compare to those other two who are just annoying and having too much screen times.

He has the most screen times of the demons even more than the main leads lol so I can see why some might like him. Also his character is not stupid I like smart villain too ^^

I think his role in sel is awesome, but I agree I'm also looking forward more awesome roles from him ^^

You have to rate every episode you watched. I think it doesn't change is because too many rating it down that didn't watch the drama. I also find it quite entertaining even with some annoying characters. I'm watching for the main leads and they're always the highlights. I'm loving their characters and some support characters ^^

Agree I would like that. Heard he wanted to play a police officer, and I'm hoping he will get a script for that or even playing a villain ^^

You're right she's just a guest, but they're letting her getting her way. I just think the uncles treating her with kid glove because she's someone qing shi likes and it just doesn't make sense for them to not monitor her if they're suspicious of her. Also qing shi is a fool letting ji rong making all the decisions for him and taking her advice. The uncles are humoring her by letting her stay even though I can see they don't like her being there, but apparently they're afraid of hurting their relationship with qing shi to say anything against ji rong.

So that was the reason for the change in script from novel? Was jirong and you ye in novel or are they characters just add in for the drama? Feel bad for the main leads especially xukai, he put so much training for this drama. Yuzheng is known for using main characters to highlight support characters in many of his own produced dramas.

Situ hong has finally turned and working for the demons, kind of expected he would eventually but didn't think he would killed his cousin and aunt. Make me wonder how many people on the righteous sect are working for the demons and became spies for them.

Would he want to break it though since it's a keepsake from his mother, unless he knew that's a way for him to access his ancient blood line.

The main leads started out already interest in each other when they first met and their relationship just build to become more solid. There're other couples besides the lead ^^

I like you ye, the one that I find having too much screen times are ji rong and qing shi. He's just too dumb letting ji rong played him. Xukai and nazha characters are not useless but they barely have any screen times, in these last few eps all about qing shi and ji rong and they're getting annoying.
