I like his character in his recent drama snow eagle lord it's a good role for him in my opinion smart and resourceful and strength of character, and most of his characters in his past dramas. I do think he doesn't have lots of screen times compare to support characters who just take up space for no reason other than to prolong those dramas lol. There are exception of course but that is the case in most of his past dramas and as a fan I'm frustrated that he's being treated so badly by those productions when he contribute so much into each role he took, and sometimes they don't even appear on screen because they were cut and edit out of the dramas.

He only offered to stay as a ruse since he can't leave by himself not really choosing to stay just like jing qiu also offered to stay but then they both escaped in the dark of night.

He doesn't lack expression, it's just he's serious most of the time that gives that impression maybe. I also like knight chanfeng ^^

Agree it's getting more interesting. A drama has up and down, so it's ok to have some boring parts now and then. As long as it stick to the plot and doesn't abandon their original intent then it will stand the test of time ^^

Drama is picking up again It's getting more interesting, turned out rong the girl qing shi likes is working for the demon, while his master is half demon. What a plot twist, was thinking he was so lucky to just stumble onto them, now it turned out rong might just be using him all along and just fake her affection to him. She's following him to xueying territory on a mission for the demon association. You ye father was the one that sold the weapons to the demon, wonder when they will find out, both sfl and sml are keeping a secret to protect her father, but for how long. They investigated the moyang clan and find out the secret xue ying uncle was working for the demon, but he cleverly put the blame onto his subordinate. Now xue ying is finding a way to rescue his mother from his uncle. I hope he succeed with the help of jing qiu ^^

In term of martial art I like sel better, tboy is just all about flashy moves but I also like tboy ^^

I'm liking the opening and ending, it takes a few listens to appreciate it, the lyrics fit with the theme of the drama. The art style does takes a while to get use to though, should've use real people instead.

I actually like to see there are other who are just as talented besides xueying. Otherwise it would be boring if he's the only talented one in the academy. I think the plot might turn him into an enemy in the future since I saw in trailer xueying and him facing each other. I'm watching for xukai too, he really trained hard for this drama, the martial art in this drama is very good ^^

I remember si borong got taken while guarding outside and the shield was already in place done by knight chanfeng after finding out some of his students were taken by the demons. The demons were still able to get in and taken him away. So the shield wasn't strong enough and was cracked by the demons somehow.

It's true he couldn't released his douqui before until he met knight chanfeng who transfer some of his douqui into him, and told him that it could help him release his own douqui. His power became stronger after that and he said he could feel power inside his body as he trained. He was able to release his douqui after absorbing energy from heaven and earth as he was surround in a fire. As someone who train for many years but not able to release his douqui, his level was much stronger than the average person. This made me believe his mother was the one that suppressed his power, but he was able to overcome it after he met knight chanfeng. It's you who should rewatch the drama lol.

I think novel ml would get complain for having ml halo if the drama only focus on him, even in drama someone was complaining ml just gain power after not having power forgetting he has been training for years. Thanks for the info, how cool to own a planet so being world deity is another name for being a god/chief god I guess ^^

Xue ying brother is so lucky to find a master who willing to teach him spell and a girl who is already sweet on him just like his brother.

How is the academy students were so easily taken by the demons even with a shield in place. Also what happens to si boring is he still alive. Did xueying becomes a descendant after being hit by that energy of that mask guy, was it that easy to become a transcendant I was thinking it would take longer for him to become one. Wonder if this has something to do with his ancient blood line, that he can absorb power if he gets hit with a strong energy that how he was able to become transcendant. How many transcendants are there in their world? Is transcendant suppose to be the strongest being or is there someone even stronger?

I'm not excusing him exactly I just understood why he did it. In my opinion he did choose love by making her hate him since he thinks it will be less hurtful knowing qingmu has died than letting her believing they can have a future together. Yes he could be truthful to her, but he's afraid she will make the same choice as last time when she sacrificed her life after she found out that's why he kept the truth from her. Yes he did messed up since he didn't anticipate tianqui would come and caused trouble and gave wuhuan a chance to hurt houchi. I feel bad for the both of them since he didn't see any other choice but to fake a marriage so houchi could give up on him.

Thanks for sharing about novel, it's too bad they didn't adapt the novel as it appears. The ml seems to be much stronger in novel compare to drama, wonder how they will develop his character over time. Will his character will be as strong as novel version.

I like the academy style so I'm hoping for the same comradery I seen in the trailer. There are many good dramas with such theme, arsenal military academy, dance of the sky empire, once upon a time in lingjian mountain. And they're all xukai dramas ^^ I'm surprised there're people who don't like this theme.

Who care if u enjoy it or not, if I took offense at everyone who badmouthed dramas I like then it's a long list lol. If you're going to say he gained power without any training then you must not have watch the drama since the only thing he has done has been training lol. If it's not good then move on instead of wasting space here and arguing with those who enjoy the drama.

I took offense since you said he gain power with no effort since all he did was training. Maybe I'm really into the drama and didn't skip any dialogues, and I'm following the show and didn't find the hole you're complaining about. I don't care about douban, I care about my own opinion, if I like it it's enough for me. I have never follow any popular dramas I watch dramas for my own enjoyment, so my opinion is all I care about. Everyone have different taste, so let agree to disagree.

There are some bad acting, but I wouldn't say the two leads are the problem lol ^^
