The writing is not bad and I find it funny that the bad guys are not dumb and it's the good guys that are dumb. In writing this the writer must be in love with the demon side since I felt some of the weak writing has to do with some of the decisions made by those from the good guys. However we're not watching for the support characters, we're watching for the main leads and their friends, and their writing are good and consistent. Just watch it for entertainment rather than judging on how poorly written some support characters are then you will like it a lot better. True it's not the best writing in term of characters, but it's not the worse either since the cultivation stuff is written well in my opinion, and xukai as ml rocks ^^

That true, it's made for a younger demographic since most of the main characters are in their teens to early twenties. However I'm a fan of this genre, so it's it's still watchable for someone older like me ^^

Yeah but he still acknowledge that they married and said she's his wife. Maybe in the future we'll get another wedding to complete their marriage.

Constructive criticism? when you said you watched a few of his recent dramas what did you watch? Did you finish the drama or only watch a few eps and then made that statement. Do you understand what it means to watch dramas for plots and characters, that's what I care about, true he still has room to improve but saying he only relies on his looks, then you don't know anything about him. Also what exactly are you watching for? Go find someone else who fits your criteria then, going on his profile and putting him down then you should expect other fans will questions whether you're truly a fan or just a hater. Kind of funny was reading someone on viki made a comment and said something they never watch his dramas for more than three eps and and then claimed he can't act. It's their loss, maybe it not him, it's them lol since his dramas are exactly to my taste. I will watch him in anything because I trust his ability to pick dramas. His time will come, not all actors are lucky and gotten recognize for their talent right away, some took ten years or even longer. Also a drama success not only depends on the actors/actresses but also the whole team (director and script writer). Xukai hardwork will pay off eventually, he doesn't need to follow other actors to get fame, projects will come to him and he will gets better offers like his future projects I'm anticipating.

Is this company also refer to as siba since there were some comments this company went broke, and the reason some support characters got so much screen times are due to them being siba artists.

Yeah I felt her servant really wants to break them up by giving the excuse she will die if she didn't go back to her kingdom, that's why she confronted him. Jing qiu was willing to stay on earth to be with xue ying even if she died that made me think she was really weak at that point that's why he made that decision to break up with her. Otherwise I would think they could've marry and then go back later. Also I think she wasn't in the right state of mind that why she easily believe him when he said he only with her because of her divine blood since they've been together before he even found out about her identity.

Ep 34, I feel so bad for jing qiu. Her lover and friends all lied to her and she was so heartbroken that she cut herself. Xue jing send her back to her kingdom, but will they meet again and will she forgives him for what he did. My question is are they married since they didn't finished the ceremony.

I said that because their reactions were just as surprised as jing qiu. Xue ying was acting like a jerk in order to get her to hate him and she broke up with him believing he only with her for her divine blood. Situ hong is an outsider so he the only one doesn't know I guess, his master and friends all know about his plan. This makes me think his family and the villagers were all left out of his plan.

Some of it has to do with too much screen times for support characters, and they can get annoying. You can skip them and watch for the main leads and their friends. I also like that sfl likes ml, but she didn't do anything to break the main leads apart, she became a close friend to fl ^^

Yes it's a good watch. Xukai fight scenes are great, and I really like how supportive ml and fl are to each other ^^

Haven't watch all eps, gotten to ep 34 and their relationship went from sweet to bittersweet. Even though he lied to her, I can't fault him for wanting her to live since she was getting weaker and weaker being with him. That wedding though it seems even his family doesn't know about his plan, but everyone at the academy knew is it because they're just bad actors that why xue ying didn't let them know about his plan?

When you claim he only relies on his good look that's why I can't help but reply back. As a fans of xukai I don't watch his dramas for his good look since in my opinion there're many good looking actors, but what attracts me is his hard work and how he's not afraid to play many different types of characters from serious to funny, from heroic to loser and how those characters mature and improve. Also in snow eagle lord his character has lots of fight scenes and he trained for months for the fight scenes to look good on screen. Not sure how many actors would do the same. In writing this the word problem I meant the same thing it's your opinion, I don't have a problem if you have constructive criticism but you didn't give any. Xukai is a talented actor who constantly learning in each drama he's in, and I can't wait to see his future dramas.

The recent eps are so sweet between main leads. Fl keeps being criticized for her acting, but in my opinion she's not a bad actress, she can act sad and she can cry beside smiling. The one actor I don't see being complained about is qing shi, he has many crying scenes and each time I just laughed at how bad it was, he can't squeeze out a single tears from his brother went missing to his uncle died to finding out his mother died while having too much screen times. Also I was looking forward to see him find out it was jin rong that caused his village to be attacked by demons and his uncle died, but now I just think he can't be save. Even if jin rong attack his brother he would still forgive her lol. Also was thinking jin rong would change after being with qing shi, but she would attack even his brother, made me think she can't be save either. These two bring down this drama due to how much screen time they got in the beginning. The main leads are the draw points for this drama especially xukai, just love how much he put in filming this drama, most of his fight scenes are great, also their relationship is solid from the very beginning, no love triangle or stupid misunderstanding and I watch to ep 33 ^^

It's a good watch. You can try a few episodes to see if it's something you want to watch. I'm watching for the main leads and really like it so far ^^

I'm watching it and think it's good drama and I'm watching from the beginning. I don't follow you since it's not trash if watching from ep 1 can really tell that I would've drop a lot of good dramas lol.
