In ep 28 I'm happy to see more of xue ying, jing qiu, yu yue and yang bo. I'm hopeful yang bo will get training from that master to help him reaches his potential, the same as you yue I'm glad she found someone she wants to be her master. Jing qiu and xue ying relationship has become so strong, it nice to see he has more friends who can give him good advice and be of help beside yang bo and yu yue. Interesting development about that elder, is he another one working for the demon side, he also has the demon mark on him like his senior and knight changfeng. Wonder how many others from the xia clan having some kind of deals with the demons and are hiding it beside situ hong. Xue ying is looking for the spies but still having no luck, now he's being directed to master sikong as being a spy for the demon. Can't wait for future development.

What doesn't make sense to you, I think it's very easy to understand. The writing for some characters are weaker but the writing for the main leads are solid, I absolutely love them and love how straight forward they both are about their feeling for each other as well as the change in their characters as they grow closer together.

You have a point about situ hong. The two masters both were thinking he was too impatient and he needs more training in his cultivation, knight changfeng was thinking he reminded him of moyang chen and that's why he didn't want him to rush his training, but he didn't explain to situ hong why he didn't help him. That's a fail on his part. On xue ying part he was injured by a demon weapon so he couldn't control his dou qui and that's why knight changfeng was helping him training. Xue ying has always been humble even though he's talented, and wasn't arrogant like situ hong so he's well like by everyone. Situ hong was talented also hard working, but he likes to show off and as a result gave everyone a bad impression of him. This was apparent when he tried to challenge xue ying when he was still injured. I do agree love and mental support plays a big role, and a big part of that has to do with his aunt being too harsh on him when he was a kid, causing resentment towards her and made him turn to the darkness. It's a failing of his master and aunt but in my opinion if he was strong enough he could've overcome it and if he has trust in his own strength instead of being jealous of xue ying he could've become another transcendent instead of relying on the demons for power. I guess I was a bit disappointed on how this character turned out since I use to like him and thought he would be a friend to xue ying instead he turned out to be such a bore. Still I'm looking forward to see them as opponents.

How is he different from novel? I like xue ying in drama because he can fight against stronger opponents than him and hold his own against them. Is novel the same?

Agree that teacher gave him the stone to help him stabilize his douqui, it's just misinterpreted by that cousin of situ hong because of his jealousy since he's just not as talented. Also if we're talking about who's qualify to get into that school then the guy would've failed since he couldn't wake up by himself without the fl waking him up.

He gotten help because he was training outside and the masters saw he got in trouble and helped him to stable his power. In term of why situ hong asked for help and was refused because he asked to be train on the same level as xue ying when xue ying was already a transcendant and he's not, and the master was afraid he is rushing and will hurt himself. In truth situ hong was the type of person from the beginning who wants the attention from his classmates and masters unlike xue ying who gotten recognized because of his smartness and hard works. Kind of funny you're complaining xueying getting some help I would think as a master if you see your student gotten injured and not helping them what kind of master are you. I saw the opposite, xue ying gotten accused of murder and gotten put in jail and his master didn't even speak up for him. The elder didn't favor him because of his mother, he knew him from since he helped him find out about the spies in their midst but he didn't help him to get into the xinhuo palace he still has to take a test to get in. And he only got in when he gotten another elder to come back. Situ hong is the one who got special treatment and gotten help to get into xinhuo palace because one of the elders was working for the demon. He cheated but he has to accuse another of getting special treatment lol.

That's a good question from the way both jing qiu and that servant of her talking they're from a different world entirely, so let see if we get more infos about the world they came from. Jing qiu origin came from source material from what I heard.

No they didn't ask, but I think after finding her identity as a goddess they didn't want to offend her since they would need her help to fighting demons with them. They also owe her parents for saving them in their last fight with the demons. Also it's not that they didn't want to ask but imagine how her servant reacted from being suspected of being a demon, if they had ask her master about her presence she would've start a fight with them.

Didn't xue ying told the guy who was with him he suspected demon sneaking in? That's why they went to the library in the first place to follow the demon and he said there was someone else there beside jing qiu when he was asked about it so he alluded to them it was a demon that sneaked in. It seems to me they would be thanking them for helping stop any demon from entering and stealing those demons items.

If you watch the drama, the one thing needed for her to save the three realms was to use her chaos power, and that's why baijue has to create qingmu in order to absorb demon power so he can have chaos power. So the person who can save the three realms can be him/her or even their child since all three of them were able to use chaos power. Baijue even told gu jun he can't see shanggu sacrifice her life a second time since he knew she would do that if she knew the tribulation hasn't ended since he stopped it from being completed.

I guess after finding out her identity they didn't care to find out. Also she's a disciple of one of the elders there so she's welcome there I think.

Yang bo is such a funny guy, his reason for entering changfeng academy is to marry a transcendant, and he settles on you ye as the one and is following her like a puppy. Now they got separated because he gotten picked by that elder to become his disciple because he was friend to xue ying. Hope that master will train him to become stronger and be a help to xue ying in the future. What happens to you ye, haven't seen her since she got separated from yang bo. And how come that master didn't pick her is he looking down on her being a woman, she also a friend to xue ying but he didn't consider taking her in as his student. I think she has a much compelling reason to become stronger than yang bo to get revenge for her father and brother.

Xue ying is saying exactly what these elders need to hear. He has been suspicious one or more of these elders are working for the demon side so he's investigating the people in the xinhuo palace. Also having one of the elders working for the demon means the demons knew everything their own side was doing and that's how they were able to hide their demon association location for so long.

I kind of like that they're building up his character to become a major opponent of xue ying. The stronger your enemy, the stronger you become. Kind of funny how he put down xue ying for getting help from his master, but he didn't think he's much worse working with the demons and taking short cut on order to get stronger. Xue ying was able to advance on his own without much help unlike him who betrayed his own side.

Ep 25 is so good because xue ying getting lots of screen times, if they keep focus on him and give less screen times to support roles like jin rong and qing shi who are really frustrating me with how he just followed jin rong every words. Glad their master stop them from going to xue ying territory, she will cause trouble again for the xia clan if she has her way.

Why should he follow the rules when it only limits him to reach his full potential. These elders I'm suspicious of a few of them working for the demon side that's why they're putting their students at risk and doesn't care about their lives. Xue ying is right and because of how he treat his seniors with respect, he is making more friends and gotten someone to help him uncover the spies among them.

Watching to ep 24 and the plot is starting to progress. Now xue ying leaves changfeng academy to go to xinhuo palace to find the spy/spies in the xia clan. What will happen next can't wait to find out. What the deal with jin rong and her master, he seems to know her secret but is keeping it from qing shi, but he's not a bad guy since he tried to recover that item from the demons. Is jin rong going to be the end game, the demons really know how to pick those who served them, nobody suspected her because she looks innocent and harmless. Qing shi is a fool for her innocent act.

I'm watching for xukai and just love his character in this drama strong and determines and his fight scenes are great. Not the best story but still enjoyable ^^

Watching to ep 23 and qing shi is still so clueless. To declare he will believe every thing jin rong said when he met her for only a short time. She was the reason uncle tong San died. That ao lan was able to come and go as he pleases by disguise himself as uncle tong san. Why is he feels more like a main character, his screen time is even more than the main leads. How is it so many people there and didn't find out about something wrong with the food, so the food that was given to everyone else wasn't poison, only that master that guard the spell was poison? I'm suspicious of that master that brought him the food for a long time now, I think he's working for the demon clan too. Also how come uncle tong San didn't tell them about the mirror and jin rong, it just so frustrating they're dragging this out when they should've find out about jin rong already. Also situ hong keep killing people he knows and acting like he was wrong, he is really need to get his head examine, saying he will save yu yue's brother and then go back on his words and kill him just because of his jealousy of xue ying. Feel sorry for you yue for losing her father and brother, her brother is actually a nice guy and to think xue ying was his idol, feeling bad for him dying so young. Now xue ying has even more of a reason to go after the demon clan to get revenge for uncle tong san and save his mother.
