I only watched up to 4 eps and enjoy the drama just fine. Looking forward to more episodes ^^

If you don't like it that's fine, it's just not your genre, however calling it messy and cheap after only a few eps and skipping most of it, maybe it better for you to stop watching entirely. I don't understand those people who only watching a drama for only one actor/actress how do you even enjoy the plot or cinematography if you're skipping everything. Better just watched the trailer and be done with it.

Interesting, xukai is such a shy and quiet guy. His character in arsenal military academy is completely opposite from him. Did you watch all dramas from him from beginning to end, I started watching him from yanxi palace and was so impressed with his portrayal of that character being so young but able to portray such a mature character. I watched most of his dramas since, and just fall in love with all his characters portrayal, he has no experience in acting, but he really put lots of effort in each of his character, and make them memorable. In term of the actress, I have no problem with her, and actually like their dynamic. Also don't take those who have problems with the actress as xukai fans, they have problems with her in other dramas with different actors, so I don't think you should trash talk xukai just because they have a problem with her being typecast in this drama.

For those who wants to watch xukai in a new drama. He has a new drama out loss in the Kunlun mountain ^^

The empress was deposed and would've been send to a convent. She decided to end her life because she would lose her freedom, Zi Jin intercept for her, and persuade zhan ji to let her go and do what she wants to do as a physician. He made a ruling she was to be send to an outside palace, but I think it was only for those who are strict on palace rules, he basically set her free to do as she wants. Zi Jin became the new empress.

Hard to say, those who don't like this drama either don't like the fl or the ml, or a combination of both. They didn't like this drama to get better rating than their favorites. Haters are everywhere, everytime this drama got an 8.7, it will go back down to 8.6 again. Others dramas don't have the same problem.

If you want rating to improve, you can rate every episode that are already out. I was checking the rating and not a lot of people are rating each episode. In the past I don't rate the drama until I finish the show, but there is an option to rate each ep if you click on episode guide on the top.

I didn't watch mystic nine, is that another tomb robber type of story?

If you like arsenal military academy give it a try. Xukai outfits are similar to that one. Lots of action, ml and fl are childhood friends, they come to help each other when either of them are in trouble ^^

That's kind of mean, the guy is annoying, while fl is just a bit clueless. I like her with ding yunqi.

He kind of annoying though, I didn't even notice his outfit. He and his servant, when he was fighting ding yunqi in ep 2, that was funny how he was holding the umbrella for him while he was fighting. The guy gives the impression of a rich master and is kind of foolish lol ^^

He fengtian is in this drama too. He has been in so many dramas with xukai court lady, royal feast and now loss in Kunlun mountain. I think he's also in she and her perfect husband. His character in this show looks good with glasses.

I think it's showing the popularity of a show, so the higher the heat index the better i suppose.

For now I'm watching on YouTube because I want to support legal site, let's see if they will update on YouTube because from my understanding iqiyi will force you to watch on their app.

If you watch the trailer, there's another evil guy that hasn't show up yet from watching up to ep 3. Yeah I think the guy was funny in the beginning, but he turned me off when he tried to force wu shuang to marry him.

He's funny in the beginning, but him forcing her wu shuang to marry him just turns me off ;(

He said he wants to date first before marriage. That's so cute, I think both of them have feeling for each other, but are hiding it, I think he just doesn't want to be bound by the rule of pentasect, he asked her if she truly wants to marry him, and she said she doesn't, she's only following the rule of pentasect, I think it's just an excuse because I can tell she has feeling for him ^^

Is cgi that important. Unless it's a xanxia/ fantasy type of drama that needs it, for this type of drama the fighting scenes look more realistic without cgi involve. People complains about the fight scenes being too fast, but when it's slow-mo they would still complain. You can never satisfy people expectations of action scenes, it would be nice to have a good action director that involves in the filming since they know what they're doing...

Also on iqiyi, I was just checking the link on top for wetv and tencentvideo, but turn out they're not showed in my region.
