I was referring to their first kiss. I like the bus kiss and theater kiss, so no complaints there. For me it comes down whether the girl is comfortable with the kiss scenes or not. A lot of time I'm turning off by kiss scenes when I see how uncomfortable the girl is. So for a good kiss scenes to be good both actors have to really be comfortable with each other, and the guy has to accommodate the girl, that why I like this kiss scene since I like that he wasn't forcing her and going by her own pace.

But it does have romance. Also I'm talking about the different characters not just wushuang and yunqi. They establish all the major characters so we know their motivation where they stand. Now it's just telling the journey to get to Kunlun mountain, I just hope it has a good ending and not rush.

You're right wushuang wasn't the reason he came back. As the story is written she was a special existence for him since childhood, and as they spend times together, that feeling turns romantic. It could be you don't like the cp as a result you don't see their chemistry, but for me I can see how she's the only girl he letting close to him or see his vulnerability. Also they both share a past together, so he trusts her completely. For fengling he is suspicious of her brother, but I think he does see her as a friend, he just doesn't have romantic feeling for her, and he might've realizes she has feeling for him, that's why he's being cold toward her. Even cyz whom he called sister, he still keeps a distance compare to the way he treats wushuang.

It's fine if you don't share my opinion. Most times I'm just turn off by kiss scenes in general since I feel like the guy was attacking the girl and she wasn't comfortable with it. For this kiss scenes I feel they're sweet and doesn't turn me off, and they're both exploring each other being they just turn from friends to lovers.

I thought his kiss scenes in falling into your smile when their first kiss was just ok. They just lock lips together. For this one it was much sweeter, and they're taking their time. I just feel he's so sweet taking his time, in a way wushuang character as written is very innocent so he's taking his time teaching her. That's how I see it.

You're right about that, but we can't compare those guys in modern day to people who living in the republican era. They live in a much simpler time, where most young women care the most about is marriage and having a family. If a guy wants to live with a girl, he has to marry her, otherwise her reputation will be ruin. Yunqi is not the type of guy to be sweet on a girl if he has no feeling for her, even if she's a friend. We can see the difference way he treated wushuang to fengling. He seems to keep a certain distance from fengling even after they became friends.

I like the kiss, it was their first kiss and i like that he's taking it slow. For some reasons I don't like those kisses where the guy seems to be in a hurry and doesn't think about the girl's feeling. For this kiss they were friends, now they become a couple, so it make sense for them to take it slowly. Also I think for wushuang it must be her first kiss with a guy, she seems so shy, I just think he's really sweet by taking his time ^^

That was how it was written, they're childhood sweetheart, he always has a soft spot for her, hence he even eat the food she made for him knowing he would get sick afterward, or wearing the charm she gave him. I'm usually not into romance, but the feeling between yunqi and wushuang was kind of hard to miss all those signals showing how they're feeling to each other. Him refusing to marry her before has nothing to do with her, and everything to do with the stupid pentasect rule, and he even said he disband the pentasect to set her free so they can be together. Haven't watch love like the galaxy but hear lots of good things about it. Like you I also watching this drama for xukai and all his outfits just look so good on him ^^

I think you mean sfl, not fl . I can feel her jealousy over yunqi and wushuang getting closer. I feel bad for her if he is her first crush and she doesn't know how to handle her jealousy, so she's lashing out at wushuang after finding out about wushuang's master and her sect following them. I'm still hopeful now that yunqi and wushuang are together, fengling will gives up on yunqi and get together with he biao, I think they would make a cute couple.

I didn't have a problem with the start, I felt the start was slow pace to establish all the relationships especially for yunqi and wushuang àfter watching to ép 22 i'm so happy for them, he finally confess his feeling to her. It's so obvious he has feeling for her from early on, so I'm glad they finally get together as a couple. Also does anybody notices how wushuang is lying to her master, she was the one who set the trap in that place to become a death trap so nobody could get in again, but when her master asked about it she pretends she doesn't know. Also I can tell she chooses yunqi over her master in her heart even if she doesn't admitted herself, she didn't try to read the book of ban knowing her master wants to know about it, she still left him to read alone, so she doesn't betray him. I remember I heard before the drama air the eps # was going to to be 48, but when the drama finally air it was only 36 eps. Probably due to censorship the eps # was cut, just hope it won't affects the quality of the drama, since the ending is what make the drama.

I hope they will have enough eps to end the drama properly. Cdramas have a problem when it comes to the ending, either being too short or not having a satisfy ending.

There is, but it's only been talked about not showed. I been wondering if it was due to censorship that's why there were some people who said they were guilty of stealing from tombs, like Luo jiutian and commander hu but we never see them in the tomb doing the stealing just talking about it.

That was in his past dramas, but starting from she and her perfect husband, he been dubbing his own voice if I'm not mistaken.

I'm saying that because you been writing the same comments about fl being in ace troop, and we got it you don't like her character in there or here, but that has nothing to do with this drama discussion. I agree with the other poster, watching one ep of a drama doesn't make it alright to give a bad impression to new viewers. Most dramas take more episodes to get interesting, that poster was just giving an example of those dramas that are like due to the popularity of the actor/actress, not necessarily interesting in the first ep.

I think he likes her, but he doesn't want her to marry him for the wrong reason. That pentasect rule was stupid, how would he knows she truly wants to marry him, or she's only following the rule of pentasect. That's why he rejected her, but all indication shows he clearly has feeling for her. Also he told her he want to date first before marriage shows he is not hating the idea of marrying her.

Xukai in arsenal military academy is kind of a bad boy, and he's really funny in that drama. If you like jiutian, then I'm sure you will like xukai character in arsenal military academy. I don't consider jiutian an antagonist, but an annoyance because he is not a threat to either ml or fl. I thought his death scene was kind of touching since his brother and sister will always remember him, and will get revenge for his death. I disagree with you about romance aspect since for me I already seen yunqi has feeling for fl much earlier. He gave her the dragon bone without a thought because he trust in her to guard for him. He wear the comb charm of her on his neck and refuses to give it back when she asked for it, him eating the food she cooked even knowing he is allergic to it, or him missing her and went to find her by bringing her apple, etc. All those unspoken gestures speak of his feeling for her without him having to speak a single words.

It's fine if you don't like the drama, bút don't assume everyone who watches this drama thinks like you. The person who started this discussion is complaining about some people on mdl who watched only one ep of a drama and then rate the drama by giving a bad impression to new viewers. Also can you stop bringing another drama that has nothing to do with this drama into the discussion. Unlike you I actually felt fl has a valid reason to act the way she did, she was raised by her master, and was taught from a young age to follow the pentasect rules, even though to outsiders it's stupid, but it's what she was taught from a very early age, so can you stop with putting down the fl. We understand you don't like her character, let just leave it at that.

Sorry don't see any chemistry between her and Luo jiutian. My only response is eew, the guy who actually think by wanting to marry a girl, he could tie her up and rape her. If fengling hadn't stopped him he would'be die much sooner either by wushuang's hand or yunqi. I can't even think of them being in the same room with each other without throwing up, I think wu shuang also felt the same, she almost strangle him to death if fengling hadn't interfere. I like yunqi and wushuang chemistry from the very beginning, and been wondering why they both have such a strong bond even though he left to study abroad. The way he behaves toward her is so gentle compare to how he usually acts towards others. I agree Luo jiutian is a comedic relief, he can always make any situation funny.

In term of republican drama, it comes down to if you like the subject, I also like arsenal military academy another republican drama of xukai. I always love plot and characters, and this drama really deliver on characters, they're interesting and the plot is unique, bonus wuxia is my favorite genre, and the story is getting more intriguing each ep.

Yeah I can see a change in him. Before he was more careful, and would've never use the power of pentasect to do his business, but now he doesn't hesitate to use his father position within pentasect to do his business. I think what his father said about having power and money is not bad, it just depends on the person who uses it really change his thinking. I also see a change in fengling, before she was just a simple career oriented girl, but after her brother death, she seems to hide a part of herself even from her own brother. She also wants to get revenge on those people who caused her brother death. She is not a simple girl any longer, even biao saw a change in her.

Sure no problem. In that time period, telling a girl to be by his side is almost as good as admitting they're an item, and being wushuang is old fashion she would automatically get the wrong idea. I think he wants for them to date first before marriage like what he said to her before.
