Some dramas get to air sooner. I don't know the reason, maybe one of the casts or staffs know someone on the inside as a result their dramas get to air sooner, who knows.

I know it has lots of parts to the series. But I remember hearing reunion was split into 2 seasons because of the new rule of having to cut down the number of eps, if the drama want to air it has to divide the drama into 2 seasons to pass the censorship. It's the same drama with same actors not like those other series with different actors.

I think this drama was shot in 2021, so just over a year. That's how Chinese dramas are though, some dramas take even longer to air.

It's a light hearted drama about team work and I like that it's not just an eSport drama, but also shine a light onto online bullying. You can watch a few episodes to see if you will like it. Xukai's character is a captain, and really confident type which I like. Fl fits her character, even though I think she could emote more, bút it's still a good drama. The second couple was also cute ^^

Xukai dramas court lady and ancient love poetry also has more than 40 eps too and were aired just last year. I think that was due to they were shot before the new rule was made, that's why those two dramas were allowed to air not needing to divide into two parts like current dramas.

Agree 💯 with you. Both the legend and dance of the sky empire has the weakest plot drama version, not compare to novel. The main leads seem to have less screen times than the second leads, and their characters are also not explore as well in order to make times for support characters. For this drama, Jiang wu was annoying and was too overpowered that I felt he must be the director's favorite. Compare to other characters who was given a stupid death, he died saving the fl, and then later came back to help the fl. They really want to drag the love triangle that wasn't a love triangle since it was one sided on his part, but was turn into a redemption arc for him, while the sfl who also liked the ml was turn into a villain. The show was draggy after the second half, and was confusing if you don't pay attention.

Ancient love poetry was so much better executed, baijue was so powerful even at his 40% power. Both the main leads were powerful, and given a chance to flex their power compare to this one.

I was referring to when he came back already. There was an announcement date it was going to air, but then the airing station didn't air it, and said it was postponed to another date. This was the time when the Chinese government was cracking down on the fandoms due to Zhao li ying and Wang yi bo's fans war.

Xiao zhan's case is different from Zheng shuang and Kris Wu. It's an exaggeration to say his career could've been ruined like them. On the other hand there's another actor who career was ruined by taking a picture. I hope he can come back, been waiting for Zhao ge for so long. I think the airing network thought it wasn't the best time to air the drama. I wonder what the reason for this one since the rumor date keeps changing.
