I prefer DYQ with CYZ; they're on the same level maturity wise, intelligence, understanding, etc. way better chemistry.…
Yeah they each represent opposite ideology. Yunqi want to embrace modern way of thinking, while wushuang is stuck to her old fashioned way of thinking being she didn't have a higher education like yunqi.
yunqi has his reasons for turning her down in the later episodes you’ll find more about how he feels and that…
Is it something to do with his mother? In the early ep, it was alluded to the pentasect rule, and the reason he has a fall out with his father. I'm looking forward to finding out more since it was kind of vague.
In ep 14, I kind of feel bad for wu shuang, she pretty much declare her feeling to yunqi but gotten turn down just as quickly. She's a simple girl who just want to get marry and have a family with the guy she thinks is meant for her. She's old fashioned, and believe like most young women in that time that their biggest decision is getting marry, and have a family. Plus being an orphan she must've crave a family of her own, so I can see why she's so stubborn about marrying yunqi. She can only marry to a heaven official according to her sect rule, otherwise she has to stay single I assume.

Wanting a home meaning wanting to get married and have a family of her own. She said to luo yunsong sister, she wants to leave pentasect, and want to be with yunqi so it's obvious she has decide he's the one for her. In the old day young women don't have a choice in whom they married, their marriage are arrange by their parents. Wu shuang was an orphan, so she took her teacher word to heart, and consider yunqi as her fiance. Plus the people in pentasect can't marry unless they're marry to the heaven official, so her wanting to have a home with him just mean she chose him as her husband. I also understand why yunqi refuses her, he probably think she only wants to marry him because of his title as the heir to the heaven official, not because she truly wants to be with him.
First few episodes is so good and tense. Now getting boring. At episode 11 now but they still haven’t start…
First few episodes were full of action, the recent eps are all about characters interactions. More characters are introduced, lots of talking, I can see why you might think it's boring. I also gotten sleepy, but that because I kept rewinding those scenes with yunqi dealing with all these new characters, as well as him dealing with luo yunsong, and I just admire how resourceful and smart he's. No wonder in the interview, when asked the four main casts who has the highest eq and iq, they all point to ding yunqi ^^
I was looking at the numbers and it seems to continuously be in Top 5?
Yeah I saw something like a rank on YouTube, and it was top 3 beating love like a galaxy and immortal samsara. Xukai was also included in the ranking of top ten actors of the week or something like that since they were in Chinese.
How can you tell if it's a flop drama or not if you're an international fans. I never follow the trend of popular drama since my interest lies in drama that doesn't always appeal to a large population. This drama appeals to a certain audience, and probably will not have the popularity like those other dramas that have a following for the CP or for the popularity of the actors/actresses. I been following xukai's dramas and never really pay attention to whether they were popular or not, but what you're saying his other dramas are actually popular, and only this one is a flop?
In ancient China a lot of stupid things were done because of auspicious belief, you can check out their ancient…
Such a stupid stupid rule. Was watching royal feast of xukai and wu Jin yan, and this rule really happened in ancient china, where if the emperor died, his concubines that don't bear him a son will be buried with him. The fl in that show vows to break that rule, and in history her son did finally abolish such rule.
It kind of funny how yunqi was able to get into luo yunsong's place so many times even though they were heavily guarded, he really like a ninja, how was he able to get into his study, his work place, etc. He's just too resourceful, also he seems to have lots of people who would come to his help, where are these men come from?
Does anyone like the opening and ending. I thought it really fits with the theme of this drama, setting the atmosphere and giving a mysterious vibe in the opening, while sad and emotional in the ending theme. Also in ep 2, when yunqi was fighting there was a rap music I thought it was out of place, but I find it really catchy ^^
why you are watching on YouTube when there is many site available for up to 12 episodes...
Thanks for replying, I can't believe I didn't think of that, I use my phone more often, so I didn't think to check on the website. Anyway I was able to watch on the link provided after ep 5. I had an account with iqiyi but hasn't use it for a long time so I forgot my login name lol. Thanks for the help ^^
Was checking the review, and I can't help but shake my head, is it even legal to rate a drama by watching 1 ep and rate it and thinking to make a review on this drama, and actually think anyone will take your opinion seriously. If I only watch 1 ep of a drama I wouldn't have rate the drama since I can't even tell head or tail of what's going on lol ^^
I like the actress playing the character but it's probably the scriptwriter's intent to make it seem like she's…
I think most of his fls are strong, it's just I don't like when the drama put unnecessary stuffs like love triangle when it's adapted from novel just to drag out the drama. For this drama, it's still early, so I hope she will get more character development like the character of xukai in arsenal military academy, he eventually mature, but he still has his cute side ^^
