I think there should be a tag for strong male lead, the ml is has such a strong personality, he anticipated and plan everything and is always regarded as one of the strongest in this drama. I tried to add it, but was rejected multiple times.

I actually thought the leads has lots of screen time together , but their relationship is slow moving, their chemistry is just ok. Lots of staring into each other eyes, I think they're good as companion, but in term of CP feeling is kind of lacking. This is a political drama, we get lots of ml's struggle for power in his own family if you're into palace drama. Would've like to see fl's other identity as a princess with her family. I also like it has lots of action as a wuxia fan.

A while back, the rating went up to 8.7, wonder what happened, why it went back down to 8.6.

Wonder why it keeps getting delays.

I rewatch many of xukai's dramas too. I'm the type to only watch a drama once, but with xukai dramas I can watch more than once. I'm also obsess with ancient love poetry, and would rewatch small clips now and then ^^

If the fl has lots of fighting scenes, what about ml does he also has lots of fighting scenes as well. I didn't watch the original.
