It's only a rumor, but these so call fans are making themselves look bad, and hurting their idols. I remember I heard a fan war broke out between Zhao li zing and Wang yi bo over a rumor of their pairing, and Zhao li zing was made to take the blame for it a while back. Now actors/actresses are being made to take responsibility if their fans misbehave. I kind of feel bad for xukai for being drag into this, when the drama hasn't even confirm he will participate in it.

I think she's depressed so I don't think him being with her would be good for him. She left him in capable hands, and wanting baijue back is not just for her but also for him since a child needs both his parents. Her words to him that his father doesn't truly want to leave them both alone, so she's fighting to get baijue back so they could be a complete family. My only regrets is yuan qi wasn't there at the end when baijue came back. It should've been a family reunion, otherwise I really like the ending ^^

You wrote mo qing, but I think you mean qing mu. Agree it's has a good plot with great character development and great cgi ^^

That's up for her to decide of course, the fl for court lady has a very strong personality, she reminds me of yingluo from yanxi palace for their determination and one track mind. Once upon a time in lingjian mountain and dance of the sky empire are good if you like comedy, for the legend it could've been a better drama if it was shorter.

I don't think so, I think it kind of slow since they were attracted to each other, but it took them much longer to declare their feelings for each other.

I like her acting in here, I think her acting has improve since story of yanxi palace. Much more mature or it's just her character is more mature and I like it, remind me of the first empress in yanxi palace. She has training since she was young to become Zhu Zhang ji's consort, but the old emperor changes his mind and gave the position to someone else, so she refuses to be just another prince's concubine. She chose to work in the kitchen, and want to become a matron by climbing the rank. Zi Jin is different from yingluo, she is much more forgiving and much more learning than yingluo. She kind of like a mary sue, I can't imagine anyone to be that nice and not have an ulterior motive, but she's exactly that. Letting someone who tried to kill her to become her friend, or forgive someone who tried to kill you, that will never happens in real life.

If you don't mind palace dramas, I also recommend story of yanxi palace, court lady and royal feast.

I like both for different reasons. Royal feast focuses on the food less on politics, while court lady does have lots of court politics since the fl becomes a court lady and works in the palace.

So just another rumor. I'm also waiting for any of xukai's dramas to drop lol ^^

Love triangle is not heavy, sml doesn't realizes the fl is female, and once he found out she already has feeling for ml, so it's manageable. Same for sfl, she likes the ml for a long time but ml only likes fl. They're all likable, it's very funny in the beginning, and gotten more serious towards the end. Would recommend.

He's very athletic, and from seeing him using the sword and spear in ancient love poetry and court lady makes me want to see him in a wuxia type of drama. I don't expect it to be pure wuxia, but I think xukai really cut out to play in a wuxia drama.

I been waiting for so long for him to do a wuxia drama. In any case those other dramas do have lots of action which is what I like ^^

It's kind of funny, after watching the scene of zhan ji using the cat to get into his wife's bedroom, I'm reminded of the drama falling into your smile when xukai character uses the kitten to get a girlfriend lol ^^

Zi Jin becomes the crown prince's concubine, but her ambition is to get rid of the old practice of burying the emperor's concubines because she thinks it's wrong. That would mean she need to climb to the empress position to get such power to changes things.

Also I have to say Zi Jin can make friends with almost anyone, she was able to get most of those concubines that look down on her to become friendly with her. I'm so happy for Zi ping, she just gotten promoted again to directress position by the empress. Yuehua has to eat her words when she made fun of Zi ping before, now Zi ping is in an equal position to her lol ^^

You're right, it did said fantasy, and also has a xanxia tag. Anyway I'm curious since I didn't watch the original. Xukai also has snow eagle lord and wonder land of love, is snow eagle lord also a xanxia since it's also fantasy. Would you consider wonder land of love a wuxia?
