Is this real, or just a rumor. Does that mean ancient love poetry 2 will be about tianqi and yuemi. I hope if it's true, they will keep all the casts from the first one ^^

I didn't think the production was the problem, it was the censorship. I think they had to cut some stuff toward the end in order for the drama to air being it was filmed in 2019, and only got an air date in 2021. The drama follows the novel really well, but some of the cuts hurt the drama since there were some narratives that were never explained in drama only in novel.

I only know yanxi palace, arsenal military academy and court lady that are produce by yu Zheng, and I love all three dramas. So he does produce some good dramas.

Is this the real airing date, it's only hours away. I'm so excited for xukai and wu jin yan reunion ^^

It has a happy ending, but as a viewer I want more. I'm both satisfied and unsatisfied since I want more couple time with the main leads.

Was rewatching ancient love poetry on viki then while waiting for that drama, I also rewatch falling into your smile, almost forgot how much I enjoy this drama. This is such a lighthearted drama, plus most of the characters are very likable ^^

What I love about this drama is the fl and ml sacrifices for each other. I think it's rather unique concept compare to other dramas I seen. Also I think as females we think it's romantic when ml sacrifices for the fl rather than the other way around. There should be more dramas like this, where both ml and fl share equal burden ^^

This drama was the first drama xukai filmed, plus it has most of his leading ladies wu Jin Yan, bailu, wu jaiyi, li yitong ^^

Heard the rumor this is a prequel to good bye my princess with xukai and jing tian, is this real?

The only other e-sport dramas I watched are love 020 and king avatar. This one has more gaming than love 020 and does have romance between the main leads compare to king avatar. I like all three dramas, but in term of e-sport I prefer this one and the king avatar. You can try a few eps up to 10, if it doesn't catch you interest, then maybe it's not for you.

Yeah I see the tag harem. I just don't want to see xukai in another drama having to chase after the girl and being hurt by her. Although I heard there is a rumor with him and another actress Jing tian, so this might be another fake rumor.

I don't think you should waste your time on commenting to her. Chemistry is subjective, if she doesn't want to see the chemistry between main leads then she won't see it. I argued with some CP fans of bailu and xukai before, and you can't convince them xukai can have chemistry with other actresses since they're too obsess with their ship. Also in term of acting, I think xukai is a natural actor, he can play mature and childish really well, as well as serious and comedic roles. My first drama of xukai is story of yanxi palace and I was impressed with how he was able to portray this character being he was in his early 20. Then I seen him in the legend and arsenal military academy with bailu, I like the couple but I also like him with other actresses in his other dramas, so I'm not a cp fan, any way long story short I seen many dramas with good looking actors but the one that impressed me the most is xukai, and I think also because most of his dramas have good scripts with strong female leads. Even if some do worse than others either by editing problems or other issues like straying from original novels, I still enjoy most of his dramas, that's what matter ^^

It's not just the main leads fandom, since most of their dramas don't get the same interest, and yours is one opinion among many. It's just the appeals of this drama, it's in the same genre as go go squid, the king avatar, etc all focus on e'sport some done better than others.
