Yeah this is such a good drama, in my opinion I like this one more than story of yanxi palace since i didn't care so much about harem lives. For this drama, we get to see the lives of everyday people as well as the palace lives. The fl in this one is very similar to fl in yanxi palace, both of them are strong women and just excel in their environment even though they are face with constant danger. Also xukai as general and battle scenes are a plus^^

I don't know if there are more since I only seen those two kiss scenes on YouTube, and they weren't in drama.

When he came back as baijue he took over qingmu, so qingmu is a part of him. He could control qingmu as will after that. You can say he is a doppelganger of baijue, but that's a bit different than splitting his original being though. Baijue already regains his power, so his power was much stronger than when he was trying to absorb qingmu and became one with him, it took him 100 years to recover his power otherwise he would have handle wuhuan much earlier. If there is a season 2, then yuemi and tianqi will be the focus , but I hope all the casts come back. The drama didn't touch on her origin, it's only in the novel. I think you should mark your comment as spoiler.

What I like about this drama is it addresses cyber bullying and toxic fans behaviors, as well as giving us a glimpse into the life of those in the entertainment business. It's a lighthearted drama with zero misunderstanding, and no the parents are pretty easy going, it's really a fun and entertaining drama whether you are into eSports or not.

She's not a bad actress at all, it just her character is boring and get on my nerve. I like her better in arsenal military academy and court lady with xukai as ml too. She plays better as more animated and lively girl than this type of role in this drama.

What is rude about his behavior? Calling her a shorty? And even if he is rude why should you care, he is obviously try to keep a distance, being as popular as he is, he's surrounded with lots of female fans, why do you think he was able to keep himself scandal free. The fl in my opinion is kind of childish, so his making fun of her is due to how easy worked up she gets. I actually don't feel he has feeling for her until much later on when he truly accepted her as a teammate. For the game play I haven't play this type of game, but it looks to be a game about teamwork, no single person can win the game by himself no matter how good he's unlike the king's avatar another gaming drama. I do like the game animations.

He has a new drama airing now.

Boxuan is baijue, qingmu is a part of him who loss his memory, he can split his original being into two so he can do it again not a big deal. Houchi is a part of shanggu who loss her memory so once they both come back as true gods they still have memory of being qingmu and houchi. Yuemi did reincarnate, the little girl in the human world whom houchi rescue and qingmu train is her. She has her own story in a separate novel, hope it will be adapt into a drama so we'll get season 2 of ancient love poetry ^^

I don't understand what you're on. Do you expect every drama to starts with a nice male lead and ends the same never changing? Where is the fun in that lol, also if that's what you consider toxic you haven't seen that many dramas. I actually prefer this type of male lead to one who is consider to be too perfect to be true, also judging a drama a few eps in is a bit premature because most dramas don't have the best start, but they picked up and get better as you watch. That is how I find most of my favorites.

I didn't feel the chemistry. I find him really annoying being pushy when she was not interested in the beginning to being a third wheel in the later eps when he keep showing up when main leads were about to make up. He would make a good friend to her since she needed all the help she can get being stuck in the palace where she's always at risk, but he chose to be such a prick.

You r talking about muguang, at first I thought the same as you that he was clueless and once he found out the truth he would acted like how the ruler of the three realms would act and dealt with his wife, but he made me so disappointed. Apparently he had always suspected her but choose to let her off so many times , so in my opinions he was complicit in her
crimes. He was a lovesick fool, he was the reason she was able to get away with her crimes, even after finding out she killed his teacher, he still wants to protects her, and kept her secret from baijue. The main reason baijue was playing along and pretend not to know anything was to test muguang loyalty too I think, in the attack against the demons, Jing yang was caught using the poison flower and killed a
god, he silent him from revealing his mother was the culprit. He was willing to have his son punish to protect his wife. Tianqi only cares about shanggu, his reason is the three realms can be reborn, but shanggu won't that what made him did what he did. In my opinion he was irresponsible as a true god but as a good brother/friend he was always on shanggu side. Baijue was the opposite of tianqi, he always put the business of the three realms ahead of his own personal interest, even though he loves her, he never plan for them to fall in love again, he wants to change shanggu fate and give her a chance at new life free from the tribulation of chaos, in his own words that was the only thing he could do for her. Both men love her, but they chose different ways to protect her, one making her his priority, the other one make the three realms his priority. It's not repetitive, I was so engage in the plot that I went back and rewatch it again. Compare to ashes of love which I think is repetitive, this is an excellent xanxia that I wish has more episodes.

Although just want to add xuanyi is more powerful than wuhuan since xuanyi was a true god before he became a devil. Baijue power was damage and he couldn't tell how strong wuhuan is, that's why he couldn't risk harming shanggu and her child.

That is a first I heard someone think this drama is overated. In my opinion this deserve a much higher rating than what it got. I have to ask you though, who do you think is clueless?
