We can speculate. I think he does retain his power since he was reborn as the god of fire with his memory intact, so I'm assuming he also was able to retain his power as well. I see her as still new to her chaos power, so in term of experience baijue is the strongest ^^

You might be right since I heard there was an actor chosen for that drama already. I already seen some of those comments they throws against xukai and wu jinyan as well as his ex girlfriend. I think some of those are the CP fans who are angry that they're not pair in imperial cuisine. I don't care one way or another if they work together or not, since i think xukai has chemistry with everyone he works with ^^

I'm rewatching the show, and it looks to me like baijue has a power to see the past of a person as well as he can also read a person's thought. Is this a power only he can do, or is it just a spell that anyone with god's power can do?

Was checking the casts list on Viki, and the actor Leon Lai who plays gujun was not the right actor at all lol, such a small mistake as putting the wrong actor with the same name ^^

It's just a rumor, so I don't trust on it yet since he has been rumor a few times with other actresses too and it turn out to be fake. What with bailu fans keep bringing xukai fans into this, also is that user referring to xukai Chinese fans because I don't think his international fans actually care who he pair with.

I heard about that rumor, but I also heard rumor of his next project with other actresses to like yangzi, and a drama with another actress that I don't remember the name of.

Where did you stop watching. It took about 10 eps when the ml brother come back to get interesting for me, but unlike you I like the lead couple more than second lead couple.

Also I like the way this drama focus on not just the players, but also the fans side like cyberbullying and idol worship etc.

That's just how his character is supposed to be. He always hides his emotions behind a facade I think, and that's why she's clueless about his feeling for her.

I feel you. Even though baijue and shanggu has a happy ending it's too short, qm and hc suffering over their eventual separation since both of them consider themselves as separate being from baijue and shanggu, make their happiness bittersweet. That's why they should've include another ep to give us better closure, for all the suffering they been through 😭

I only like 2nd lead couple toward the very end, so that's the opposite for me. I really like the lead couple chemistry even though I felt ml was doing most of the work, and fl is not as convincing in showing her love for him.

Yes it's very good, my favorite drama of xukai. You can try a few eps to see if it's something you will like ^^
