You're right, i appreciate all of their relationship so much more more after finishing the drama. I'm just glad we got 16 eps of the god realm and the relationship of the four true gods, baijue/shanggu relationship as well as tianqi/yuemi ^^

He's in lots of dramas with xukai i count three already court lady, ancient love poetry and the next one is she and her perfect husband. Love his role in ancient love poetry, while didn't like him in court lady very much. Hope his role will be likable in their next project together ^^

Oh sorry if i spoil for you. Yes baijue was doing it all so he could change shanggu fate. The more you watch the more you will understand his perspective. I feel for both of them and their unborn child.

Both her and her mother show no remorse for what they did actually. But i didn't mind it, there're just some people who will never learn, wuhuan and jingzhao punishment is losing the people they love and jing yang parting words to wuhuan is so satisfy to me. Being judge by the people you love is much worse than by outsider. I think for jing zhao, both muguang and jing jian sacrifice their lives to keep the peace between immortals and demons, so shanggu and baijue letting her get away with her crime for those two. Jing jian is also a really good friend to qingmu, so he letting her off due to their friendship that how i see it.

Not really, they're gods so they will get reborn i think. Although in the case of gujun, baijue saves him for houchi it's would be easy for him to save his soul just like what he did to save shanggu using his own power. Baijue is a meticulous person, he doesn't leave anything to chance just like how he deal with tianqi when he fought and killed him, but later on we found out he left him some spiritual power, so he could live again.

Qingmu didn't disapear, he just became a part of baijue since they're the same person. We can say qingmu and boxuan combine to make a complete baijue. In the later ep when the three gods fight baijue separate himself and create another him to fight with wuhuan, and it was bittersweet since he looks exactly like qingmu ^^ I agree qingmu is so selfless, his love for houchi is too sweet, but in my opinion he is a part of baijue that has no duty and responsibility as a true god so he is free to love her unconditionally. Baijue love for shanggu just as deep in my opinion, he spend 60,000 years to gather her soul, split his original being in two to obtain power of chaos in order to save her from another tribulation of chaos.

I think she was pitiful losing her father and brothers having to take care of her mother after she went crazy. I think shanggu made her mute because she was disrespectful toward her, for poisoning a true god yeah they didn't punish her for that i think because baijue was pretending to be poison, he let her off easy since he was using her all that time to monitor wuhuan i think.

Love her in ancient love poetry with xukai. Her character is so strong and not a push over, just love her personality as shanggu/houchi ^^

It will get better, also they did notice each other early, but they won't get together right away. I think you will like the 2nd arc then, this drama can be divided into 3 arcs, the god realm is the 1st arc, the 2nd arc starts after ep 16.

I also love his look when he wear black, and also the green color outfit he was wearing as qingmu and then later the blue outfit as baijue, or the outfit when he was boxuan. Ok i'm just going to say it he look good in any colors ^^

If you like palace dramas, i also recommend story of yanxi palace, he's not main in that one but it what started my love for xukai and court lady is anther good one, he went from a playboy to a respected general in the name of love. The character of sheng chumu like night and day from fuca fuheng ^^

A couple thing i notice when the characters ml and fl both are show sleeping they look like they have no make up on. I love natural look, and i'm glad they show both xukai and zhou dong yu in their natural look because they're so good looking. Also have to praise tianqi and wuhuan both of them look so good with white hair. The character design for this drama has done a fantastic job, everyone just look good from mains to supports, the only one i was thinking was average was princess jing zhao compare to her mother, but in future eps she actually look more pretty too, so i have to wonder it was deliberate to make her so unattractive in the early eps, not a complain though since she match her ugly personality ^^

Haha me too, i'm not use to comments so much in an ongoing drama, since most dramas i watch were already completed, but this is the most i comment for just finishing 1 ep lol. I also watching falling into yout smile by xukai and i don't comment as much in that one ^^

Exactly, it was jing zhao that made the marriage proposal in the first place. Baijue even told her he has no feeling for her and if that is what she truly wanted. He only accepted her proposal in order to get houchi to let go of her feeling for qingmu, the marriage was never completed or consummated. He gotten his desired intention so there was no need to complete the wedding. He used jing zhao, but she was the one who benefited from her association with him, and that made her become arrogant with power and wanting more later on. Although i thing jing zhao is too cowardly to have done anything to baijue, it was her mother that force her into it.
