This is a palace drama, so it focus is on the royal family. The fl work in the palace, so romance is not the focus here. There're many side couples. Just a warning there're some cuts toward ending that's not satisfy for some due to censorship. Still it's worth the watch since i was able to finish the drama and even read the novel ^^

It's a palace drama. The beginning was like a comedy, toward the end become much darker. If you only watch it for xukai you might not like it since his screen times is compare to other support characters. If you want to try anyway, you're welcome to it, his character was a playboy but become more mature after meeting and falling for fl ^^

Don't let it get to you. There're still many who love this drama, and comment here still. About the id smiling, the drama did not address her reason for having the id, so some people just want to understand why she have that id since she rarely smile. From seeing past comments, she took the id of a past esport player because she admires him, and this was only explains in the novel.

No, there is no kissing/hugging so no worry. Fl and sml do spend sometimes together, and you do feel sorry for ml since he was trying so hard to get her attention. Not on the level of ashes of love, since sml thought she was a boy lol ^^

Falling into your smile i think his voice is not dub. I also heard she and her perfect husband with yangmi will be using real voice as well.

He does have boyish good look. Have you watch all his dramas? I recommend arsenal military academy if you haven't seen it, he so good looking in that one whatever he was wearing. I love xukai because he's not afraid to experiment in different roles, he's the one i can watch in anything ^^

Third time is the charm ^^ The beginning was a bit boring for some. I'm the type who love plot and character development in my drama, so this drama is right in my alley, i'm rewatching it now, and still can't get over this drama ^^

While watching the drama i never skip opening and ending. Just love the story book opening, and the ost for ending just feel like baijue's pov making it even more beautiful ^^

I love that scene between hongri and baijue, it shows baijue's thought process and how he's not a people person that he has to ask his spirit beast for advice ^^. Also his conversation with shanggu reveals how he operates when it comes to god business, he does thing for expediency with no feeling, but because he saw how shanggu was hurt by his action that was what led to him seeking advice from his spirit beast. This is where he starts to care about her feeling, and led to him apologizing to her later ^^

Is there a reason to be falling in love. Fl is young only 10,000 years old, so it's her first time to have feeling for someone. Ml has live a long time, and in those times he has been cold to everyone around him. Fl was able to thaw him out with her lively personality. Both of them care and respect each other, so gradually feeling of love will grows. I love their relationship, both of them acted like teenagers being in love for the first time, and it's refreshing to see such a pure feeling of love even with no physical intimacy between them.

I like them from 1 ep and love their chemistry, so to me their chemistry is perfect. It keep getting better and better ^^

Watch it, the love triangle is not prominent since only xukai character found out bailu character was a girl, while the sml found out much later so by then he loss his chance. The main leads are very strong, bailu character is very good in martial art, while xukai character is laid back and don't seem to care but when he does he was just as bad ass ^^

I'm the opposite and watch without any skipping, so i can't relate. You might be right about editing problem, but after watching the legend with so many repeated scenes and with so many filler this one for me has done a great job with wrapping up a drama in 49 eps, and i'm thinking it could benefits with a bonus scene while the legend needs to cut down on the number of eps to make the audience less confuse and to tell a better story. There were some dramas that has too many eps that it feel like dragging, but this one feels just right ^^

I think you are missing the point of the story. He made the sacrifice because he didn't want to see her making the sacrifice. If you think about it, her fate is cruel compare to the rest of the true gods who live much longer. She was born to take on the fate of chief god that was abandoned by xuanyi, the former chief god. She was only 10,000 years old when she die to save the three realms, baijue was feeling so guilty for making her accept the chief god position. And no he never plan to make her fall for qingmu, or even boxuan. There was a dialogue when houchi was talking to qingmu and she said boxuan treated her like a sister, so he planned to sacrifice his life and letting her live a normal life so she didn't have to be the chief god again with duties of chief god. She wouldn't have to feel guilt if she didn't know about the tribulation of chaos, and that is why he took away her memory, so no he never want her to feel guilty for his death. In a way it's nobody's fault, it just she was born to a cruel fate and because of baijue's love for her, he want to change her fate even if was to give his own life to do it. He want her to think him a bad guy because he doesn't want her to feel guilty for his death.
