Wow you read fast, it took me longer to read the novel, what do you think of the novel?

I agree, his character has such a pure soul and it sadden me to see him be so different from his original self. Toward the end, when he starts to wear white again i was happy because it signals to me baijue never change, it was just an act and he still the same baijue i fell for back in the god realm ^^

Before watching this drama, i already heard someone diss cheng xiao for her acting in her past drama, so i already lower my expectation on her acting as a result i still enjoy the drama and was able to appreciate her character being a cute gaming girl. It would be nice to see the novel tong yao because you also make me curious about her character in novel, still this drama manage to give a fresh take to the e-sport scenes and i find it enjoyable with the whole team zgdx ^^

I think the reason this drama was attack because those people afraid their favorite xanxia dramas will not be in the top spot anymore, it's juvenile but it does make sense in my opinion. I don't really understand the comment about xukai being fat whatsoever, i love seeing him in white, he looks healthy compare to those skinny actors that i don't even watch because they're not attractive due to how skinny they're.

I find the fl suits her character very well. This role require great acting skill, and she bring out shanggu/houchi bubbly personality as well as her serious sides, so in my opinion this role is made for her as well as xukai as baijue/boxuan/qingmu. They made their characters memorable, and i can say their chemistry is perfect ^^

While i was watching i also asked the same question ^^ I heard he was gay or bisexual in real life too.

No i don't think their pairing was strange at all. Even before the drama air, i even wrote a comment that both of them are so young looking that they match so well. Also after seeing the trailer i like their height difference and love the pairing even more ^^

Yeah i understand your point. His character was written as a man who's loyal in love, and i have to question why couldn't he fall in love with someone else like the girl who has always been in love and loyal to him, so it's the writer fault for making him a miserable person. Let stop here since i think we talk too much about aol when this is a dicussion for alp ^^

You might be right and it's the writer fault. For runyu he gotten the title of emperor, he was able to get the highest position and got his revenge. So why can't he give up on his love for jinmi and give himself a chance at happiness by finding someone else who deserve his love, so the problem is he made that choice himself.

That's what frustrating about this drama, the characters don't learn to move on. It's not the end of the world to have your heartbroken, look around you and find someone else who deserve your love. Instead it's the same cycle of unrequited love lol ^^

Agree with you. I don't have strong like or dislike for these three characters. However i agree with you about runyu manipulation of jinmi. In my opinion she was clueless about her own emotion but it was obvious to me she has feeling for xufeng early on, he knew about her feeling but still push for the engagement knowing about his brother feeling for her. My problem with this drama is these two are brothers and they turn on each other for a woman. His manipulation of her emotion making her killed the guy she loves and he's his own brother, no matter how badly he was treated, i would never support his action or understand it. This drama is really frustrating because so many characters are so obsessed with someone who don't love them back, instead of moving on, they do many evil things in the name of love. Runyu is a fool, the girl who loves and loyal to him he ignores while fighting with his brother for a girl who doesn't loves him back.

I think it does not matter, he does not love her for her looks, but her personality ^^

I think he looks good in any color, but black does bring out his best looks ^^

His scenes are great. But you might not understand much if you only skip to his scenes only lol ^^

I think lots of time adaptation don't follow novel. What is her character like in novel that you can't accept in drama?
