Lol i agree.. i wish the same too haha..But about the non passionate thing of alp that u said, i think that wouldn't…
Baijue is too busy with the fate of the world, but when he stolen glances to shanggu his eyes show so much emotion and passion behind it. Also qingmu and houchi wedding night were so passionate lol ^^
I also got that minglan vibes here, not necessarily cuz of the plot since I'm still at the beginning but cuz of…
Agree, this feels authentic to the time. The costumes, the hair fashions, even the make-up just give the sense of that time period. The guys are portrayed with shade of gray, and not straight up good guys even the ml ^^
The main leads stay apart most of the show, that might be the reason. I agree with you though, beside the main…
I didn't watch minglan so I don't know whether the story are the same. For this drama lots of people were frustrated with the little screen time ml has compare to side characters. Also toward the end, there were some scenes that were cut/edit out due to censorship. I went and read the novel to find out more on the story, it's a nice read and gave more details into the characters so I'm glad it has a novel ^^
The only ost that I remember about ashes of love is the opening theme. While for this drama, I can say I love…
Yes, I didn't like the whole set up about two brothers fighting over a woman, but also my annoyance has to do with how repetitive it was, it just feels force to me. You have to question why can't they move on to someone better, it's not like they didn't have a better option lol. This happens not only to main leads but most of the casts, this drama can be label as obsessive love I suppose,

It was a one time watch for me. I enjoy it, but after finished it it didn't leave a deep impression on me. I just don't enjoy 2 brothers fighting each other over a woman. What got to me was how leo luo character manipulated the fl to kill the guy she loves, and that person is his own brother no less. I do see lots of dramas have that trope of having ml and sml fight over fl, but some dramas did better than others and doesn't make you annoy with the love triangle. I really like the bromance between baijue and tianqi even though they love shanggu, what matter most to them is her well-being, and they never double cross each other, this is what I consider a healthy love triangle. I agree about the god of chaos, it feels like Jesus sacrifice his life for all so all being can live. Baijue has to get the power of chaos, so he can sacrifice his own life to spare shanggu from doing the same, their love story is a tragedy waiting to happen since there could never be a happy ending until the end when the chief god grant shanggu her wish ^^
This drama is very good. The cinematography, visuals, production everything is perfect. The story line is a bit…
The main leads stay apart most of the show, that might be the reason. I agree with you though, beside the main leads I also watch for the plot and side characters, so my interest was on the plot and I'm glad I stick with it. This drama starts out lighthearted and get serious pretty fast, I also like that we get to see the main leads in their element even though they're apart I feel like they will find a way back to each other, so I actually enjoy their time apart ^^
Synopsis is interesting. Is this a tomb robber story? Can't wait to see the trailer so we get more infos to the drama. Looking forward to this drama ^^
Darn. All these romantic xianxia series make you wish like your life was in some temporary tribulation right now…
The only ost that I remember about ashes of love is the opening theme. While for this drama, I can say I love all the osts, they give the drama all the feel at the right moment so I have to disagree with you. Also for the ml I love baijue over xufeng, the only thing I remember for ashes of love after watching it is two brothers fighting over a woman, killing each other over a woman, and in the end starting a war over a woman lol just does not get my interest just my annoyance about the plot being so repetitive, or most of the casts acting stupid over loving someone who don't love them back, my annoyance level was quite high for that drama. Although I have to say ashes of love has a better ending compare to ancient love poetry, the main leads have so little time together that's my main complains for ancient love poetry.
There should be a tag for strong male lead because baijue is consider the strongest in this drama beside shanggu. Also personality switch should be added, anyone who watch this drama will understand what I'm talking about ^^
Can someone recommend me another worthed watching dramas with strong baddass / smart-ass Female leads like this,?I…
Court lady, the female lead is very smart and also has a strong sense of right and wrong. It also has xukai in it, as long as he's in it, the drama is going to be a good one. Also recommend ancient love poetry, once upon a time in lingjian mountain, both female leads are also bad ass ^^
