Yes, i like it. It's a simple plot, the chemistry is good. A decent love story, xukai is really funny in this drama. It has a happy ending, try a few eps to see if it's to your liking ^^

Who, r you talking about ml? I actually like him speaking korean, there was a bts showing him practicing speaking korean and i thought it was pretty cool and his korean is not bad even i don't know korean myself. Someone on here said he speak better korean than the actors who play real koreans lol ^^

She is in story of yanxi palace with xukai the ml in ancient love poetry although her character appears much later in the story. Agree she was great as wuhuan, the heavenly empress ^^

You should, i love the plot of this drama. Mains and supports have great character development. This is my first time watching zhou dongyu, she was able to show her cute/bubbly personality and serious moments so well ^^

I also like the phrase he said to her while she was unconcious after being attacked by wuxi, '' i just want you to be safe'' that really got me because she was able to get through his defenses to make he cares for her more than his duties as true god ^^

This drama has many side couples, so the focus is not always on main couple. Plus it's a palace drama, so the royal families play a big part in this drama. What great is whenever he shows up he commands attention, so yeah even though he has to share screen time with other support characters it's still worth a watch just for his battle scenes ^^

Wuhuan was a cool villain though, i prefer her compare to the one in ashes of love and ten miles of peach blossoms. She was fill with arrogant after she became the devel god, and she underestimate the true gods thinking she could handle them, instead she was tricked into revealing herself. The last battle was short i agree, but i kind of understand why she was easily beaten, the three gods were just too powerful for her. This is the same battle formation they use on the last devil god, and it also worked on him too. I was satisfied with the ending since i found out jing jian was able to come back and seeing shanggu and baijue together is everything. Agree they should give us a bonus ep to show their family together, that would be nice ^^ I heard there is a novel about tianqi and yuemi, so who know if alp is popular enough they will make a second season, if they do i hope they will bring back the original actors.

I think in the early 2nd arc, i'm rewatching but i'm still on 1st arc. Once i get to 2nd arc i'll let you know ^^

It's his first main lead role, i haven't watch song of youth but i think it's understandable having support role to main lead role, so rather than judging him just give him a chance. He might improve when he's more comfortable with his character.

Yeah she got a light punishment, but i just think they're true gods so they can be merciful. The one good thing about her that i can tell is she really care for her family, when jin yang made trouble in the mortal world she went to tell jin jian to stop him. In my opinion she is immature for being spoil by her mother, and also weak will as a result she got influence by wuhuan to poison baijue, so i think losing her whole family and having to take care of hercrazy mother for the rest of her life, not having a family of her own is a punshment of sort.

I forgot to say something about fengran, i do admire her for being able to let go of her revenge on wuhuan and jing yang because of her love for jing jian. She is letting justice take its course and letting shanggu make the judgement. Although i didn't like jin yang very much in the beginning, but his character improve and he was willing to take his punishment for his past action. His parting words with wuhuan is so satisfying, being judge by your own family hurts more than any outsiders ^^

Yes i think so too, also those people have lots of time to rate a drama that early, i heard it was only 1 hour into the premier of 1st ep, and there were many 1* rating already no wonder the douban rating got so low.

Yeah, that was the drama that got me to fall hard for him, i have second lead syndrome for his character fuca fuheng ^^

Yes they both are worth the watch. Once upon a time in lingjian moutain is slapstick comedy, the bromance is strong compare to romance, some people will like it some don't. Court lady is a palace drama, it starts light and become serious half way. There are many great action scenes, it does not focus too much on romance since the fl work in the palace, so they don't get to see each other much.

Those rating were given by those who watched only 1 ep and complains about main leads look and given 1* just speak about how superficial some of these people are, i always say to myself before why some chinese dramas are so bad, and the reason is because the audience care more for visual than acting and script.
