Can't wait for new episodes until thursday, i'm watching the preview of the new eps, even though i don't want to be spoil, i can't help myself. The waiting is torture, it's a good thing xukai has another drama falling into your smile, which is such a a fun and carefree drama that i'm follow while waiting for this one ^^

I actually like xukai interpretation of baijue, baijue is such a pure soul, his character is so perfect that is impossible for any actor to play him and not get criticize. I feel xukai get unfair criticism just for how young he looks, so i always wonder how baijue is describes in novel. I feel directors put lots of effort in the casting choice for both the main leads since both can act, and for me as long as they follow the source material that is all that matters.

The ending ost in ep 16 sound weird like two voices were singing instead of one. Most of the osts in this drama are so good and really fit the scenes when they're playing. This drama is so good, i love all the action scenes and the main leads and support did an amazing job. I can't wait for new episodes ^^

Wow ep 16 got me emotional. The battles of the gods against the demon lord. So all 4 true gods died as well as other gods that choose to stay to fight. They all died and only three gods are left as well as the daughter of gujun and wuhuan, houchi total 4 gods. Why is wuhuan has a daughter with gujun if she is marrying someone else. It seems she is finally gotten the power she always wanted, she now ruler of the heaven along with her husband. What happen to baijue since shanggu was reincarnated, does he also get reincarnated along with those other gods?

I think he finds it easy to tease her since she would get so work up over it. Also her character acting very childish, so i don't think he sees her as girlfriend material yet, rather just one of his teammates that he has to protect. I only watched to ep 5, maybe my opinion will change after i watch more eps.

The first few eps are to establish shanggu and baijue relationship, if you don't care for that you can skip. What i love is not just baijue and shanggu, but all 4 true gods. They really care about each other, and would cover for each other. I also like the friendship between yuemi and shanngu, yuemi has feeling for tianqi but tianqi is in love with shanggu. However all three of them are very close, and don't let each other feeling ruin their relationship.

I only know liu xue yi from watching this drama and he's a perfect fit for his role. Can he play baijue probably he has a more mature look than xukai, but i like xukai interpretation of baijue, or i'm bias since i love xukai playing serious roles as much as his comedic roles. Baijue in my opinion is a loner, who is very innocent, and is suppose to be the most beautiful god. The relationship between shanggu and baijue is so pure, they're drawn together due to their responsibility as true gods, it looks to me like first love, both have no experience when it comes to love kind of like teenagers even though they have live for thousands of years. I assume baijue also like shanggu both are very young looking, so they fit the roles. Shanggu only a kid before she went training to accept her position as the leader of the 4 gods, so she's still new to her position. She will grows more mature as she grows into her position. I think xukai and zhou dongyu doing a good job in their roles, i can't wait for more eps to see what happens next ^^

Yes, it's a really good drama. It take time to build up relationships, and the plot is kind of slow at the beginning. I heard the novel story line will start at ep 17.

I find xukai in ancient love poetry has a much more meaty role than the legend. He's one of the true gods in the god realm, his power is second only to the god of chaos, shanngu. Also he's playing three roles, baijue is the first. I like baijue, he's very responsible and always take his responsibility seriously. He's shanggu teacher, so he wants to help her gain her power to rule the three realms. Li chen lan in the legend is a lovesick boy, and he does everything for fl, but i didn't like how his character always get hurt and the butcher of his character, as well as too much filler. I think ancient love poetry is a better drama than the legend, and i like the story line from the first ep, main couple has a pure and natural relationship, it's kind of a slow burn romance and i'm fine with it. I rather the relationship take time to build than automatically happens, and this is exactly what i see for their relationship. I also like yuemi and tianqi and hope they both will get a happy ending as well. This drama has so much going for it, the beautiful sceneries, the cgi, the fighting choreograph, the beautiful costumes, i love their simplicity. The only thing i would say it can be slow for some people, since the first 16 eps is the prologue of the novel.

I use to like wuhuan, but after a thousand year being left to manage thing on her own, she started to want power and is not really loyal to shangu any longer. Poor yuemi and tianqi, and poor shanggu losing her best friend and brother. Poor baiyue having to kill tianqi, he must be feeling miserable killing someone he cares about 😭

Aww, baiyue took care of shangu while she away in the netherworld, that's so sweet. He is willing to sacrifice his lifespan for her and damage his spiritual power in the process. I'm liking their relationship, it's kind of a slow burn romance and they finally acknowledge each other feeling ^^

Is this drama started shooting. I still not hear any news about this drama and the casts.

Ok, thanks. I just thought if i didn't have to read the subtitle, i could watch the game and understand it better. I was hoping they show individual play rather than the whole team play like in the king avatar. There were some scenes that show individual play and it looks really good. It looks like for this game only those who has knowledge about it will understand it, hoping they will explain the game so audiences can understand better in future eps. I have to wonder if this drama main focus will not be about the game but the players and their relationship.

I haven't seen any disrespect toward esport. Having watch only love 020 and the king avatar i can see some similarity to those two dramas, it's a youth drama and it reflect real life experiences of esport players. I heard this drama has to change the game from league of legend to onmiouji, and beside those who are into esport those who watch this drama are just interested in a good rom com or the actors. Those people who attack this drama are taking it too seriously, funny how did the author was able to write a book about the real life of esport players if she doesn't use real people, should she make things up and really disrespect the esport community, if it was such a big deal why was this drama allow to air, and why attack the actors they're only doing their job. On the other hand, the author should get permission before being able to publish her work if she does use real life experiences of the player, what is the copyright law in china, why is she allow to publish her work? Is the player cares that she uses his story, or is this only esport fans that care.

Watching up to 2 eps and liking the story. The game play kind of loss on me, would've been better experience if i can understand the language without the sub. Looking forward to next ep. Xukai character has a sharp tongue i like it ^^ Chengxiao character i like how she is so cool about her ex, guess that means she moves on while he is still stuck on her.

Thanks for explaining, i really want to know how he's describe in novel, whether he is as young looking as shangu is describe in novel. Both of them look like teenagers ^^
