Your reasons are differ from mine since they're the reasons that keep me watching this drama. In conclusion love that come easy won't last long, so i'm holding out for a big pay off for the main couple since all they ever wanted was to get marry and live together, but there're obstacles in their way to happiness which mean that chumu has to prove himself in order to ask for furou hand in marriage. From the get go, i knew this wasn't a light drama as the first trailer showed, i also seen the second trailer where everything was much darker. I was thinking someone in his family will be killed, but i didn't think it was going to be princess han. She and her husband have such a healthy relationship, i wonder if that incident will make chumu growth in maturity than he was already. The only time i see chumu forcing a kiss on furou was their first time, when he thought they were going to be apart and want her to remember him. The other time i feel she was willing since she was saying she will agree to whatever he requested of her. Chumu and furou are a couple so them kissing is only expected, it's just i feel she is very awkward and easily get embarass when it comes to being intimate, so that why chumu is always the one to initiate the kiss.

I find it weird you taking it at such face value. She's a 19 years old, so she's still a very young girl who has fallen in love for the first time. He's a spoil child of a duke, so yes they're both are a young couple, who has been kept apart due to circumstances not of their own making. So when you can't meet your beloved as you want, then you will treasure every moments you can get. Furou is a stubborn young woman, who is very loyal to those she love, she would champion for anyone who are not related to her just because she feel she can help them, i admired that principle of her. In my opinion she's more realistic than the fl in yanxi palace since she's not as savvy in the palace; she would get in trouble due to not knowing the ways of the palace. Chumu is not as perfect as fuheng, but i love that about him, he's change for the better after falling in love with furou. They're a young couple first and foremost, so as time will tell if their relationship will mature into an even stronger bond as they have currently.

I'm enjoying the plot and the ensemble casts. The costumes of the males and females feel authentic, really loving all the details they're putting in the costumes and hair styles. The tang period style is plain but elegant at the same time...I'm enjoying learning more about this time period and the people in it. Just hoping for more interaction of main leads, then it will be perfect.

I hope he stays a friend to her, being in the palace with all the rules, and the strong bully the weak, she needs all the help she can get. Chu mu can be really childish, this couple is so cute because they have such different personality, chumu really brings out furou's cute side when she's with him ^^

As it's 55 episodes, from the opening and ending i'm predicting there might be a break up in their future since i only seen up to ep 24. I'm hoping this plot point will make their relationship grows and mature into something even stronger than they have currently. I also would like to see chu mu grows even more, furou seems to be in her element at the court, i really love how she helps everyone around her with her stubbornness and loyalty.

It's a palace drama so it will focus on other characters beside the main characters. I'm the type who loves this type of plot compare to the harem politic in story of yanxi palace; also romance is very low in my radar, so for me love is more in term of whether 2 people are willing to go through hardship together and come out stronger for it. A love that is too easy won't last long in my opinion.

What do you expect though. She went to work in the palace, she can only get out once a month to see her family. Prince zhou live in the palace, so it's logical for her to come into contact with him often. Yes it's frustrating that they have so little interaction, but i'm glad they have trust in each other, and refuse to give up on their long distance love. Also i feel both of them have lots of character development along the way, she as a court lady, and him as a general. I think if i'm a guy i would also falls for furou, she's stubborn and once she made up her mind no matter the temptation she sticks to her principle. I think chu mu is a lucky guy to find a girl like furou, it was through loving her, he has change for the better ^^

I think she's an innocent girl. In those days girls treat the guy who took their virginity as the one love of their life, so i can see how she could change so fast. The scholar guy was just a first crush, Lu qui became the one she truly falls for. I also think she's very naive, what does she think she can do to get revenge, also mistakenly took the cousin as the mastermind behind her mother's death when the guy was just an underling, she never question why would he set the fire at her house, they were planning to have her whole family killed not just her mother.

Me too, i didn't like her mother at first because she was always mean to furou, but when she save furou in that fire i felt so bad for her because she just wants what best for her son and daughter. Fujin could have marry and live a much happier life if she didn't find out about the person responsible for her mother death.
