I find it's a refreshing change to see a young casts playing the most strongest being in the whole three realms, their powers are great but they look like they're just teenagers. As the saying goes don't judge a book by its cover is very apt here ^^

There is no rule, it's only in writer imagination. Just like in my imagination what constitute an immortals is looking young and never age. Regarding the age, the 4 true gods all look young, the heavenly emperor and empress also look young, gujun also very young looking. So i'm assuming it's purposeful to show the different in power and rank between those who are gods and those who are just immortals as a result they do age compare to those with true god power who will stay young forever.

While wuhuan the heavenly empress look younger than her daughter ^^

Most of the actors and actresses in this drama are so young looking. Compare to eternal love and ashes of love, but they're also great actors/actresses. My beef about those other xanxia is how old those actors look since they're suppose to be immortals, here they look like they don't age and will be forever young. Even they're older like the fl she looks like a teenager, the same for ml. Muguang as the heavenly emperor is so young looking even look younger than his son and i'm loving it ^^

Yes i think because she misses him, and she wants to experience what her brother couldn't do in remembrance of him.

Brother cheng is really boyfriend material. He's being so nice and protective to tong yao. Watching up to 14 ep, i'm glad she finally confronted Atai and beat him with the help of her teammates. Also Tong yao is super jealous when she thought brother cheng has a girl friend, and when she found out he's going on a blind date. I don't think she can keep her word about not dating an e-sport player, she obviously fallen for brother cheng ^^

Fengran and jing jian another cute couple. Why do i feel fengran is the phoenix princess that was set free by shanggu and baijue, and jing jian is her lover in their last life. Fengran also a phoenix make it even more possible. Lol on ep 26, when those soldiers came to capture qingmu and houchi, did they call qingmu a boytoy, is the translation right?

I'm planning to rewatch the eps while waiting for new eps.

After listening to the ending song for so many episodes, i started to understand the lyrics and i started to realize it's baijue feeling for shanggu. So is opening with lyrics is shanggu's feeling for baijue, since this insert song keeps coming up in the episodes when they're together. Both songs are beautiful, although i have to say all the osts are beautiful ^^

Actually there were some criticisms about the actress acting earlier while it was airing, but after a while people stop caring and enjoy the story. I also felt she was acting cute and girly most of the time in early eps, but i'm starting to enjoy the team dynamic and feel she's starting to contribute to the team, so i'm okay with her character now. I'm also watching ancient love poetry and i agree i love it, i will never understand the need to trash an actor for their looks.

At first i was thinking the same as you. Fl was playing cute and being too girly, but after a few episodes i don't care so much. As a female, she can still behaves like a girl and be good in e-sport, there is no rule that says she should be boyish just because she like video game and live with the boys. This drama get better and better, so i think you should give it a chance.

I'm not pushing my opinion on you, i'm just saying what i didn't like about it. I doubt it was her sect she set on fire lol, she was celebrating beating the golden immortal someone who betrayed and killed her love one. She loss her original intention about becoming a good person, but she is still protective of those who follow and loyal to her. My problem was how she dealt with jiang wu, the guy killed ml subordinate and the people of her sect and she let him walk free. Her novel countepart wouldn't let that happens. I love moqing, he was so devoted, and was willing to do anything for her. I love the role reversal in this drama, the ml was really gentle and the fl is the one in control, my only complain is he was so strong in novel, but he was always sick in drama lol. For love of dream i already said i didnt like how fl became in pursuing her love for ml since he refuse her so many times, she loss her self respect and hurt her family in her love for him. I will never understand it, she has her own worth, why lower herself for someone who won't return her love. I don't know whether the eternal love of dream is any different, but i'm just not interest in their relationship. For alp it kind of feels like legend again cause the fl is pursuing the ml while he's so shy, i find them really cute together ^^ What i like more than the legend is that both of them are so strong, and the action scenes and cgi are better than legend. I only watch to ep 24, so far and i find qingmu is more daring than baijue, so qingmu and houchi relatioship progress quicker. I like the story in alp better too, i wasn't bore. I like almost all characters in alp, only a few i dislike, in legend i didn't like a whole sect of golden immortal and his girlfriend, those people are such hypocrites.

She took on her brother's identity, so that mean the school was never notify that her brother pass away.

I felt it has to do with his guilt over hoang song's death, what you would call survivor guilt. In his last moment he still think of hoang song, and also to prove he's not a coward unlike the time when he coward in fear when hoang song took a bullet for him and saving his life. I also think it was a suicide mission, he never plan to come out alive.

I'm glad Tong yao is evolving and helping her team to win against their opponent. Doing research on a team they're playing, and now she's confronting the guy she loss to. I'm liking her character more and more after each ep. Also the wedding dream scene sequence is so cute with the whole zgdx team and her best friend cheering them on. Both tong yao and brother cheng look so good in their wedding outfits ^^

I love this more than the legend, for me there has to be more to a show than just a love story. I didn't like how the plot turn out in the legend both ml and fl became weaker as story progress. The second half has too much filler, make me dislike fl, for me i wouldn't toletate anyone trying to kill my subordinates even if that person saves my life, but she just let the guy steps on her sect like he has the right to, the logic became ridiculous. Also what was the point of showing how devoted ml is, and then add unnecessary love triangle that wasn't in the original novel, which lessen the impact of ml's love for fl. The editing was a mess, should've make it chronological, rather than time skipping. There were many side couples that didn't end up together, in my opinion these are unnessary fillers since it didn't go anywhere. I watched eternal love, and i didn't like the fl in eternal love of dream love story, in my opinion she loss all self respect when she fell in love with the ml, so i didn't watch it.
