Oh really, i didnt even realize lol.

That why i said the focus was on the bromance, and i like it...It is an adaptation, if it has follows the novel, hai yun fan would not have enter the same school as wang lu; it was changed to add bromance and I'm fine with it since it was meant as comedy, just as it also has sismance also meant as comedy...Also i like their bromance as platonic since i find their friendship much stronger compare to if they were a real couple.

I hope so, I'm anticipating it will come out this year ^^

Actually in the source material wang wu and wang lu are together. They only ended up together in the last ep, probably to placate the novel fan since romance wasn't a big part of this show. If there is a second season, their relationship will be flesh out more since there is a one year time skip, lots of things could've happen in that time period. I like this show cause of the humor, and the different genres, the master and student dynamic between these two are some of the funniest, they're matching in wit and humor and both are shameless...I also love the bromance of course, wang lu and hai yun fan have one of the strongest friendship ever ^^

The bromance is the main focus on this show, so what is the problem with the female lead, she and xukai are so funny together ^^

That not true, she is thirty only. Where do u get off to say she is old, when lots of time older men pairing with younger actress are not call old, why r u being sexist, the same can be say with the leading actress who pair with xukai in once upon a time in lingian mountain; totally off topic though xukai have been pairing with actresses who are older than him beside wu jia yi. This is a good experience for him, as well as making him grows as an actor since i feel like he is very lucky to play with more experience actresses.

I'm i the only one getting annoy with sml and fl scenes together same as in the legend also starring xukai. My love for ml made me dislike the sml, plus the story line got so bad when they made the fl looks so weak, it like they're forgetting we r suppose to like the fl. I guess my reason for liking the main couple cause i just want lixuan to be happy, otherwise i would totally ship him with long weier, at least she wouldn't hurt him like yulian did.

I'm not upset, u have u own opinion that fine. He's new to acting so he still has room to improve on so it's good for him to get critique. Yanxi palace is a palace drama, so it is not everyone cup of tea, i thought i wouldn't like it as well but it turn out out to be really good because the main female lead is smart and a survivor, she went to the palace to find out about her sister dead, and along the way she found love. There are so many good things to enjoy about it. In the legend bailu and xukai have great chemistry, if u love romance u will love it. I love it over all, although the last few episodes might be confusing because of the editing and too much focus on support characters.

I don't think it was lacking, i seen them in arsenal military acedemy and they're have great chemistry there, as well as in bts. I think lots of people think that way only because female lead is not very affectionate toward male lead cause of her mission, while male lead seems to be the only one showing his feeling openly.

Let me get this straight, you haven't seen any of his shows and only seen a few clips, how do you understand anything. You can try story of yanxi palace, tbat was the first show i seen him in, befote that i was only interested in hong kong dramas and actors...

This is a very good drama, it does not focus on the romance as much, there are some deleted scenes on youtube between the main couple that are really cute. I love all the casts in this show, they are just so fitting to their roles, and what i love the most about it is the females in this show kick ass whether they're good or bad. I recommend this show 100%, u won't regret watching it ^^ Gu yan zheng is a lovable dork :)

I just love the apple scenes, i think it is iconic as well as his blinking with both eyes ^^; i feel he brings his personality into every role he play, so it makes you feel more connected to the characters, and i love him for it ^^

I was taken aback as well, if it has even one more episode to give a proper closer it would be even better. Lots of people were complaining about him finding out his identity so late, i think they focus too much on the romance, as a result the plot was abandon since they ran out of episodes lol ^^

I can see why you think that way ^^ It is hard to say what this drama fall under; it is describes as a comedy, but it also has lots of melodramas. I think there is a balance though since we have more than one couples, so even when it is sad for the main couple, the second couple is more light hearted. Also i like the ending, even with all the sourness they were able to end on a happy note for everyone ^^
