I'm not that worry about the chemistry; i saw a bts of them together and i feel they have natural chemistry, i also seen her interview i think both of them are similar in personality...I also can't wait for ancient love poetry, both xukai and zhou dong yu are youthful looking, so they match well ^^

That will be such a waste of good talents if it not going to air; these actors/actresses worked so hard for their roles...if the wolf has air, then hopefully this one won't be far behind.

Looking forward to xukai and wu jin yan pairing. I love them in story of yanxi palace, they have natural chemistry on and off set ^^

Let's hope for the best for this project, hopefully it will be release early 2021; i'm excited since this will be xukai's first modern drama ^^

It's been so long since dance of the sky empire. When will his next dramas come out, i been waiting for court lady and was hoping for it to be release in nov but it's almost the end of nov and still not even a trailer. Don't tell me i have to wait until next year...

Again with the age shaming. So what an actress turning 30 and all of a sudden she's old where is the logic in that. If a guy is 30, is he call old. Older males play with younger actresses all the time but they automatically get a pass, but an older actress play with a younger actor is being call old, what an outdated sexist way of thinking. Xukai has a baby face, so Bailu was also call old when she was pair with him in the legend, but because his role is more mature it's not as noticeable, the same with his role as fucha fuheng in yanxi palace he matches well with wu jinyan character. Not knowing how his character will be in this new drama we'll just have to see. If bailu has accepted this drama, it will be xukai's ex with the rumor girlfriend lol, plus the rumor of them breaking up and she dating his best friend wang yi zhe? who also in this drama, no thanks. I'm fine with this arrangement, no need for more drama...If u don't like the lead actress in this drama, go find something else to watch.

I think he still has a fiance his parent arrange for him before he decides to marry yulian, so he will find his own happiness no doubt. She seems to be a nice lady.

No i haven't. I heard the main lead doesn't have chemistry and some viewers complaint about the female lead acting. She will stars in a modern drama with xukai, so i'm looking forward to that, it will be his first modern drama and about gaming, so i hope her acting has improve.

I think he can hear her inner thoughts when she wears the necklace that's why he knows even though she has a different body.

He doesn't want to be call an eye-candy lol since it implies he only has the looks. He wants to be seen as a real actor that's why he is working so hard to improve on his acting, but it can't be help due to his good look :)

You r right, lixuan should have been the main focus, his character is much more intetesting than yulian, his parent background, his interaction with his uncle should've been included, that's why people who watch this feel the story is not complete because it's too short. I feel she should trust him, she didn't have a problem trusting prince mu, but she couldn't do the same to lixuan that's my biggest complain about this show.

I know what u mean, fl and sml have lots of private moments, she never told ml about her older sister when she told sml. Her character is underdeveloped because in the novel the focus is on lixuan, while in the drama they put the focus on yulian and her mission, but they made her relies on sml so much that u dont feel any sense of accomplishment when she finally did it. Make me so frustrated, toward the end it almost feel like sml and ml switch roles. It would be nice to see them marry and their friends looking on...

I heard it suppose to be longer, but it got cut down to only 28 eps; the legend would've been much better if the production didn't increase the number of eps, while this one would've benefit from having more eps...

I hope a november release.

My first watch, i watched for the bromance; my second and third i watch for the teacher and student relationship, and i started to notice a lot more to wang lu and wang wu relationship that was overlook, like his feeling toward her. While with wang lu and xiao hai, wanglu likes to teases him cause of his shyness, in one of the ep he even compare him to a girl, but it is just for fun and he didnt mean it, of course that also due to their strong friendship.

This one should be rated higher in my opinion, it is a good show, even with some annoyances, it deserve a better rating.

Is that true, i hope so :)
