It's not the fl fault, it's the decision of the production. Her character is boring but they chose to focus on her character and added unnecessary love triangle. I would rather they focus on lixuan story line and long weier, the second prince. They're much more interesting to me.

Forgot to mention, lixuan can cook and i love guys that can cook, but i have to wonder whom he learned to cook from since his mother died since he was a child...was it in the novel, or it only added for the drama, if anyone read the novel please answer.

I don't think that is the case, the fl clearly loves him and want to be with him however it's the audience that feels bad for him. That's how i feel for all of his main roles, i always feel bad for him since he was always the one who falls for the fl first and gotten hurt in the process. I've never feel second lead syndrome when xukai is the main character, but i feel second lead syndrome for the main male when he was leading. Drama tends to deviate from novel for the worse, it's the same with the legend and this drama, as a result turning the fl unlikable due to the change storyline in order to add unnecessary love triangle.

I don't know why this show has been delays for such a long time. I wonder if it will air at all, or will it be delays indefinitely.
