If you know the chinese they have an image problem, the interview that you mention it also asked other actors not just xukai and they all answer about the same thing; these actors are being judge on their weight constantly, xukai was call fat just for gaining some weight so this is just out of context and doesn't mean anything.

Xukai doesn't have a rich father i think you gotten him mistaken with someone else. He has to drop out of school to support his parents and worked as a model after his family experienced hardship.

We live in a society where women can have the same freedom as men to flirt with anyone they like as long as they're not in a relationship so you should take your conservative view elsewhere. If all you want in an fl is for her to remain pure and be a damsel in distress than you should exit this drama, why do you keep going to xukai dramas knowing already the fl personality from the synopsis. Maybe this is also the reason why i love xukai's dramas because they really cater to women who love the fl to be strong and have modern thinking. Your taste in drama don't mesh well with his dramas apparently because all his fls are strong and have their own mind.

Xukai latest dramas from last year did well, he even received a few awards for them. Moonlit reunion is also doing well in china. The director for the double is also director for moonlit reunion, since you like the double.

I agree the timing is really suspicious. What you said made sense, it's only her version of event without any witneses to corobborate her story. I also suspected xukai was surrounded with black marketing because he's an easy target due to his dating scandal in the past, people who don't know him will automatically believe in these black marketing.

The usual demon came from xianxia genre, this is a totally different genre.

From the first 2 eps it's kind of obvious wz is very high status compare to mzy. Anyone can just bully him, he doesn't seem to react to the taunting i wonder if he faces lots of abuse when he was younger, plus the place he works at doesn't have a good rep. The empress wz's sister think he's using his look to climb the ladder when she heard he work at the bureau of investigation lmao. No wonder they were look down on the person in charge is so lazy and ineffective 🤣

Finally able to watch the first 2 eps on disney+, the first case was kind of simple and easily solved in the 1st ep. Mzy and wz first meeting was when she kicked one of her suitors out the window, that's how you make a first impression. Mzy couldn't take his eyes off of her. Their second meeting i think she must've recognizes him that why she came to his defense, and it's kind of fit the saying hero saving the damsel in distress only the script is flip and it's the beauty saving the hero 😀

She has her own point and you have your, no need to put down her comment, if you're judging his dramas on mdl rating then she has a point because mdl rating don't always reflect the quality of dramas. Also it come down to the viewers themselves, fans don't have to like a drama of an actor they like if it doesn't appeal to them. Actors and actresses shoot many dramas in a year so fans can pick and choose what they want to watch.

Mdl ratings are a joke you can rate even future eps that you have not watch. Most of xukai dramas are watchable, so it's not his script selection and i heard actors don't get the full script so a script is good on paper but can be change by the director/screen writers. Even if dramas with high rating on mdl don't necessarily mean they will have high rating on site like douban, and dramas with high rating on douban don't mean they will have high rating on mdl. In my opinion xukai fans are just harder to please because those dramas of other actors/actresses with high rating on mdl don't necessarily mean they pick better script. There're so many actors in china so they have to compete for scripts i think so it's mostly luck if they're given a good script and even then the director and screen writers are just as important to make a drama successful. Also mdl seem to be full of xukai haters even if his drama were to be rated above 8, his haters will bring down the rating of his dramas below 8 i seen this happened many times to his dramas that i'm not suprised anymore why moonlit reunion gotten such a low rating on the first day.

You don't know him either, but going on hating on someone you don't know. I don't know who you're referring to as crazy fans because international fans don't focus on actors dating or their private lives. Only chinese netizens care about such thing, we don't harass anyone on here unless they intentionally come here to make trouble. Also rumors and black marketing are not something to be trusted, this lady accused him of cheating seem desperate for attention, why wait three years to announce she's his ex, if she has accused him when he was rumored to be dating zq, some people might believe her. The other side of the same coin this is a malicious slander intend to hurt his reputation while he has a new drama out. He has report to the authority so we'll see how this play out.

Drama is already half way and there are still many who are not able to watch this drama. Can someone answer me if disney+ will release all the eps that already air or how many eps they will release tomorrow?

Wonder if it has to do with the recent allegation against xukai as a result it affect this drama viewerships. I feel bad for xukai if that was the reason this drama could've get even better result, but china is very harsh to actor being accused of having dating scandal and could be boycotting this drama. That's why i been wondering it someone purposely has been sabotaging him. If it's true i'm sad this happens to this drama with the hard work of all the casts. Every time he has a drama there will be some controversy or black marketing against him, it's tough being an actor/actress in china being filmed and judge over every little thing and being subject to public perception even if it's not true it still hurt his reputation.
