I think it’s the very Western accent that just pops in between the perfect Korean hahahha 😀 “Bastard”…
It's layers to it haha

man Se kyung and Jae min's bickering scene was soo funny 😭 all 3 of them could very well be a trio in another…
I thought the SAME thing! It would be cool if the three of them could work together in another project.
That car scene tickles me so much haha
I genuinely wonder if the actor playing the driver or the cast members laughed while filming it.

The back & forth between Se Kyung & Jae Min, the way Jae Min is complaining about his hair being pulled (as if Deuk Pal couldn't do worse if he wanted) and then that look from Deuk Pal that said "y'all can have your little argument but I will end you if you make me late for school" hahaha
I don't see how Yi Yeon would have a better life after Deuk Pal leaves his body because ALL the strides being made (standing up for himself, making friends, exuding confidence) are Deuk Pal's efforts. When he's gone, wouldn't those things go too? Will Yi Yeon be able to look people in the eye when speaking? Does he have any athletic ability? Will Yi Yeon retain any thing from Deuk Pal's time in his body (like muscle memory of excerising, fighting, walking confidently)

I think Deuk Pal would have to stay in his body until graduation (at least)
More good directing (to me) is the fact that I keep feeling stressed and anxious when Se Kyung's father shows up *because* Se Kyung feels stressed and anxious.

It's so unsettling because clearly the father is traumatizing him somehow but it doesn't seem like the way we're used to. Like I don't think he's physically abusing him or even emotionally abusing but more some kind psychological hold and/manipulation mixed with being something of a helicopter parent.
In the very first episode, I thought Jae Min would play a bigger role in Yi Yeon's arc. Honestly, I thought if this was a BL, it would be revealed that Jae Min had a crush or attraction to Yi Yeon which is why he seemed to always be paying attention to him and targeted him.

I like what the writer/director did with his character (so far) because initially he was just the jerk evil bully and then they made him seem like he's really a messed up kid, in over his head, and trying to be the toughest in the room which might make you forget that he really did do horrible things to others, he's unrepentant, and even if one can empathize with him and show him kindness, it doesn't absolve what he did or makes him forgiven ESPECIALLY when he still doesn't even see the error of his ways.
Why does it seem like Se Kyung is dubbed whenever he speaks english? (Yes, I know the actor can speak english. Fluently I think) Haha
To me, it comes across that way but that just makes the whole thing funnier. He just randomly insults Jae Min and even though Jae Min doesn't *what's* being said, he gets the tone haha

I laughed when Jae Min got words and phrases wrong
I don't even know where to start cause I just like this so far.
The cast chemistry is good and even though bullying & violence are a major part of the story, the humor and the earnestness somehow balance it out to make it a light & easy watch.

I really am so grateful for this airing schedule of having the episodes drop at the same time.

I hope the show keeps up this pace and vibe until the end.
It's just gonna be damn near impossible to have actual conversations about the actual episodes isn't it? Sigh

For every 1 comment about what happens in the show, there's like 10 complaining about the removal of the BL aspect and then replies to it which buries that 1 episode related post.

And all the arguments are repetitive as hell. How are y'all not getting bored of seeing and engaging the same arguments?

Personally, I think the most annoying comments are the folks who keep asking about what happens in the show (or the webtoon/novel)rather than JUST WATCHING/READING THEMSELVES. Seriously, can no one form their own thoughts & opinions about something nowadays?

Yes the next villain is more dangerous, stronger and also smart
In the webtoon, Donald is kinda "the other side of a coin" to Gray so I'm really curious about Baek Jin's dynamic with Si Eun.

JAN 2025 possible release date! Ryeoun said in an interview
What a way to ring in the new year haha
For good or bad, I'll be watching on the day it drops with my 🍿
I feel like this show has this faint hint or trace of *something* just beneath the surface which is interesting to me.

I don't know what happens in the source material AND NO ONE NEED TELL ME but the way it's portrayed so far in the show is intriging to me.

It seems Yi Yeon wanted to be in Se Kyung's orbit but felt it was impossible yet it seems Se Kyung was already very aware of him so I wonder why they couldn't be friends or weren't hanging out. Especially when Se Kyung is so proactive in engaging with him (post accident)
I was kinda ambivelent about this because I had *JUST* watched The Dude in Me but I'm glad I've given it a chance.

I thought it was wholesome and endearing how much Deuk Pal values education and then when he learned of what Yi Yeon has been going through, he decided his purpose was to better this kid's life INCLUDING not shaming him by messing up his grades.

Ngl not a fan so far, it's like a cheap version of "the dude in me".
Hmm, I see some difference especially that one of the characters is officially dead. That alone adds something different to the dynamic.

2 eps every Wednesday
Oh, I like that. That way there's less chance of preemptions ruining the flow or having to sit with a bad occurence happening to the character(s) until the next day or week.
